It’s cool we’re getting to see this stuff a bit early but I would’ve preferred to see it all at the developer update on the 23rd. Would have also preferred to not have that lilith trailer out and just leave it for the expansion so people could have a nice surprise.

That is why I did not post a link on the forum I knew that some people would be upset.
Regardless of what some of the naysayers think this looks to be a good expansion.

Yeah I really hope this expansion is solid. I personally didn’t care too much for vessel but hopefully this one is good. I can’t wait to have a look at all the new skills in the reworked trees.

Yep, I wonder it will have any unique reward or just 30s rain of loot.
nothing in the game has unique rewards… why would this??? unless you count titles/cosmetic stuff
In order for a game to be rewarding you can’t have participation throphies and front loaded rewards.
D3 & D4 unfortunately went down this path.
that’s literally what the diablo player base wants though… Like they would lose most of their players if they game didn’t throw tons of loot chests/cosmetics for playing a season for 20 hours. If that wasn’t the case these people would be playing POE or Last Epoch instead which are both better games, they’re just games that require reading skills and thinking which isn’t what these people want.
Gaming companies gotta pivot from letting IGN get so involved in their creations.
This milquetoast effort by IGN came off like the reviewer has about a D- grade of D4 intellect.
I make it through about 45 seconds of these videos, and only for the quick laugh.
no matter how many ppl keep repeating IGN bad they’re still the largest gaming news outlet in the world and companies are going to use them
Hate to be that guy, but IGN isn’t exactly trustworthy as games media and hasn’t been so for a very long time.

D3 echoes had, augment gems up to lvl 125, otherwise noone would have played it.
??? most people stopped playing D3 long before echoing nightmare was a thing… that was introduced like after d4 released.

To you chronically online types, this is what the average gamer is like. Most would not have known anything about LoH until this or the expansion drops. This is not targeted at you but the majority who casually play games.
IGN lost all cred when they said DA Veilguard was amazing. Game was and is a dumpster fire.
People still watch/read IGN?

they are the largest video game news outlet in the world with like half a bil ppl a month so yeah ppl still read it… The ppl who don’t like it are the folks who are online way to much, use phrases like woke and don’t understand that a review is one persons opinion
