Came to make the same statement and post. Appears DLSS is to blame for my crashing as well.
Edit: I turned mine back on to see what would happend and no issues or crash yet. Maybe just needs to be turned off and on again.

DLSS is not to blame.
Diablo 4 code is to blame.
Losing massive FPS, and or the game looking bad is not a good compromise.

Since you know that it is the code please post what part of the code the issue is in and what line the bug is on so the devs can fix it.

Hey Pluto, it a graphics setting. It stands for Digital Learning Super Sampling.
I am sure you can find it on google which will have more details but a short version is it is an AI tool that creates frames out of nothing to speed up rendering.

onyl available for RTX NVIDIA CARDS. I guess u have ADM card
Options > Graphics > Performance >Resolution Scaling> DLSS > Turn it off, is what he said. So far, mine hasn’t crashed again.

I’ll go find the setting and let you know where to look.
If you do not see it though it’s probably not enabled.
