If you didn't know you can Jump Gaps with Horse

I have many people dismounting for jumps.

As long as the Jump is horizontal ( not up or down ) you can just use Run button on horse and it will jump over gaps.

Sometimes the horse refuses and its quicker to do it yourself.

Yeah it’s hit and miss

Don’t need to even use the run button though, you can just walk up to it and the horse will jump sometimes

Now if only we could jump over those pesky barricades that appear 10 meters outside of half the towns.

Yeah, the horse can jump horizontal gaps if you boost.

Unless, of course, the horse decides that it doesn’t want to jump the gap.

If only we could use run in town becuase im sure a horse running isn’t the biggest worry people have in sanctuary

I had worse encounter with barricades recently. I was trying to go around one and one of those skeleton wall circles spawned. Somehow I got stuck inside the wall part of the circle so all my damage was being absorbed by the enviroment and could do nothing. This was in Hardcore.

Basically Blizzard really doesn’t like when you try to go around barricades.

Rogue is still a better horse since you can jump uneven gaps and barricades with shadow step and run faster than normal-cringe horse mount.

I demand Blizzard to make Rogue a mount for other classes. Must-have QoL improvement.

There’s a lot of ‘zone switching’ that occurs in D4 where you lag out while it transfers you. Rubberbanding is one effect of it, but what you described is another.

I don’t know why they need to have so many area transitions which effectively ‘zone’ or ‘shard’ you, causing a lag spike. It’s redundant and super annoying.
