without bug, the spiritborn will ralative weak, and IMO the kepe will still the best weapon, because of the powerful overpower damage. kepe + banished lord will still the most powerful combination.
so the dev should really buff other stuff of spiritborn a lot. as if make the Noxious can critical hit or buff the percentage.
Pretty sure I saw that they fixed the interaction between The Rod of Kepeleke and Banished Lord’s Talisman, so in addition to nerfing Kepeleke as well which is lame but I don’t think that will be that great anymore either.
That’s the crappy thing about nerfs like this, after the all time highs we hit with Spiritborn, I’m not going to want to play the class again for a while because it’s just not interesting or fun to me to play a weaker version of something I was enjoying previously.
The bug fixes are fine - the class is powerful enough as it is. Try playing with none of the bug interactions just to get a feel for how it should be.
This build also stifled build theorycraft and drowned out all creativity for maximizing these bugged interactions.
Items and bugs like this that bloat the power of a class is a big issue imo, and Blizzard made a huge mistake not prioritizing fixing the class bugs ASAP
Class feel for people in S7 will be completely off if they don’t know about the bug fixes and changes
It will be interesting to see how this goes. If they follow past nerfs this class will be pretty useless in Season 7.
However, if they want to keep trying to sell VoH, it still needs to shine at the top.
I am going to make a prediction that money wins and SB is still top tier next season.
Stille would end up being one of the top best classes. The nerfs are fine and warranted.
