If tempering is a mechaninc next season I will not play this game again

No point, bad mechanic, lots of frustration. Need to think of something else.

Yeah, I know haha. Broke a lot of great items already

You feed him Chickie Nugs. Stop it.

Looks like you won’t be playing this game again, tempering is here to stay.

use an extra “sacrifice” gear to switch in between to take the stubborn RNG persistency away.

Last season they heard us… “ohhh they thought that was weighted wait till season five! Muhahaha!”.

Yeah. Somehow it feels even worst then last season. I’m using a tempering manual with 3 enteries. Out of 24’ish? rolls (different items) I finally got the 1 i was looking for out of the three. Then bricked the item anyway since there is a second temper… haha. Is what it is.

somehow having 3 extra rolls and still bricking it feels even worse. golfclap

I hope so. I think it’s great.

I guess there’s an outside chance the expansion is going to overhaul all systems including tempering. But realistically it’s not going to go away. I guess your ultimatum fell flat. Time to pack it in then.

Get Elden Ring & DLC, thats where I ventured after tempering broke motivation. Best game ever made

Tempering ruined the game because as usual they had to put a poison pill in to destroy the fun. Bricking. That’s is Blizzard in a nutshell.

You need to learn to “temper” your expectations and it won’t be so bad.

I go in with a first and second best attitude. If I get my second only within a couple of rolls, I then move onto my second temper and work with that one and if I get my first best and have at least two rolls, I may go the the previous temper and work with it.

But that depends on how many affixes there are in the tab too. If there are too many possibilities, then I’m cool with second best.

I don’t stress it too much anymore under this concept and if totally brick something… no worries, I just go punch the loot piñata that Helltides are lol.
