Neyrelle is totally Lilith Disguised in human form and if she isnt…her character makes no sense.
If you didnt read the books, Lilith disguised herself as a human woman named “Lylia” for years and toyed with Uldyssian.
She Instantly masters horadrim magics that take years to master.
Knows more than Donan and Lorath about things.
Knew that mephisto disguises himself as a wolf, Claims she read it in a book… when no mortal knew that information as Mephisto never revealed that form before.
She is always making stupid witty jokes …
Whilst outside a dungeon covered in blood, dead zakarum corpses lying around…Stupid Neyrelle makes jokes to lorath and talks down to him.
Whilst in Hell, In the Cathedral of Hatred, Neyrelle is still making her dumb jokes and telling donan and lorath how much they suck.
This stuff took away from the “Diablo” vibes imo, Never being alone in the world…90% of sanctuary was wiped out yet it has so many npc everywhere and towns so close together…Doesnt feel like a lonely dark diablo.
If neyrelle isnt Lilith Disguised in human form her character absolutely sucks, try prove me wrong and explain why shes a good character in a “Diablo” game.
The fact that this character just grabs the soul stone and walks off into the sunset and everyone is just like “Eh, well, it’d be hard to find her anyway, just let it go”.
I totally forgot about D4 story until I saw this thread. It’s hard to remember mediocre writing when there arent interesting endgame bosses or PvP modes to keep you coming back
I mean she didn’t walk off, Mephisto literally shows up as a wolf and she goes through his portal to leave with him in the soulstone, and then he’s hanging with her during her trip. lol
And yet lesser evils seem to have returned in full force faster than the primes for some reason… and isn’t Mephisto the first to be reforming atm? Which is why he became Lilith’s target?
Honestly I loved Diablo’s ‘feminine’ d3 form. I think it looks extremely sinister, especially the way it moves when he’s crawling on all fours (see the HotS skin and its ‘mount’ animation).
Also I think it’s important to note that demons can and will appear in any form they choose to and considering that form of Diablo contained both the essence of Andariel and was hosted in Diablo’s own daughter, it’s not surprising it would look more feminine.
