I crafted the Idol from Below as it is supposed to make me unhindered. When is that going to happen? I am still hindered all of the time. Was this another false promise from Blizzard?

I have the same problem but I also have not received any of the bonuses of 6% primary core and 6% maximum life AND I am not being hunted by the Jewel Guardians. The only thing that worked was the 120 armor and 6% resistance to all elements. So glad I spent all those gems to purchase a dud. I hope it gets fixed soon bc it sounds like a great item. Why is it the strongest and best items are the ones that always have a bug?

Well, considering Diablo 4 is still a broken, buggy, Beta game since we purchased the game over 2 years ago, Blizzard has made some improvements but definitely not enough.
My Girl was asking about the Unique Horadric Jewel - Idol From Below, so I looked it up online and find this post in the D4 Forums only to learn it maybe bugged. I will tell her to simply craft it and see if it works. If not, we shouldn’t be that surprised considering the state the game is in.
As for the OP’s post: I understand and agree with the disappointment when something fails to work in any game and new season like D4, especially for a game we all paid for and continue supporting with Blizzard’s shameful Battle Pass changes giving us less rewards and 500 less Platinum for the same price we were originally paying. That is still a major issue in the game, D4, for sure and Blizzard needs to revert the matter or re-add the 500 Platinum they screwed us out of and improve the existing rewards, because what Blizzard did with the new Battle Pass changes that started last season is just shameful and wrong to do to all D4 players who paid for this broken, buggy, nerf-ridden, Beta game! This above all things is totally unacceptable! This is not the way to treat loyal players / customers who paid for the game and continue supporting it. Blizzard needs to correct itself on this one.
Aside from that, I only hope Blizzard finally gets it together and fixes and improves Diablo IV and makes it stable for all D4 players, because after all their promises in the past 2 years many issues, bugs and problems still remain unresolved since the game came out in June 2023. These fixes and improvements, including some sorely needed quality of life features need to be implemented sooner than later because it is long overdue! To think that a Unique Jewel Item in Diablo 4 that is a featured part of the new season having bug issues just says a lot.
It’s just really disappointing to hear about these constant bugs, issues and problems with the game, and considering my Girl and I like Diablo 4, but NOT the bugs, issues and ongoing problems since the game came out, it is messed up for Blizzard to leave these issues and problems unresolved since the game came out. I been a Blizzard player / customer for over 20 years now, and I never experienced any issues, bugs, or problems like this with any other Blizzard game or any game for that matter, except for Diablo 4. It’s a damn shame. I sincerely hope the game gets better soon!
As I mentioned many times before on this forum, Blizzard can do better, and I believe they can, and they should make Diablo 4 the awesome, fun, rewarding and entertaining game we all originally paid for and expected when the game came out. Let’s see how things go within the next 6 months. Hopefully, things will get better and Diablo 4 will get the love and attention it deserves for Seasonal and Eternal Realm players alike.
- Lastly, I hope the Jewel works as intended as of this writing, but if it doesn’t work, I will update this comment to let you all know. I hope the last patch update fixed any possible issues or bugs. We shall see. Worst case scenario is just to report the bug and reach out to tech support and let Blizzard know since Blizzard probably won’t see or read about another possible bug issue in the game on this forum unless it is reported by players.
