Just a thought for those of us who have super bad RNG. This is an idea for the community to gain a chance at crafting an UBER unique.
Have a buildup mats toward crafting one Resplendent Spark mirroring the gem’s system from salvaging ancestral uniques. For example: (#s used for example only)
- Salvaging one ancestral unique gives 1 Crude
Spark, and need 100 Crude Spark to craft 1
Chipped Spark.
- Takes 100 Chipped Spark to craft 1 Spark
- Takes 100 Spark to craft 1 Brilliant Spark
- Takes 100 Brilliant Spark to craft 1 Resplendent

If my math is corret 100000000 regular uniques would be required. At that point why bother. It would be faster and easier just to farm the uncommon unique.
The only issue with uncommon uniques are those who feel a sense of entitlement. They believe they should operate like participation throphies which is why everything in the game is common minus ubers which are uncommon at best.
At least acquiring uniques are more frequent then the RNG tries. If I tried so many times and got so many useless ancestral uniques, salvaging them at this point in the game is pointless beside mats. This is a better system for those who tried and tried. Making the mats very little to be able to craft the UBER item is also a negative perception, too, because it’s supposed to be rare to get them, right?
I think that the Resplendent Spark is a step in the right direction, but some of us don’t have a chance at UBER item. This system can help and give hope for those who have endless ancestral uniques that has been salvaged for all those attemps and have no luck at even an UBER item.
Bad luck happens in arpgs. Sometimes its a grind although ubers are only uncommon, they arnt rare.
Imo they made ubers so obtainable (common) we are where we are. People now expect them and throw fits if they dont get what they want.
I dont think they can fix this till the xpac and actually have more and rare chase items
It would be faster to code your own Diablo 4 one and give yourself all the Ubers
Hope is not the word I would use, people who are insane would be a better description. As Lazyloaf pointed out it would take a hilarious amount of uniques over quite literally years to just obtain 1 resplendent spark, let alone the 4 you would need to craft an Uber unique.
You don’t need Uber uniques for any content in the game at this moment. AoZ was a mix of gear, skill, and exploits used so that’s also not a good basis for ‘needing’ an Uber unique.
They are lottery tickets, nothing more. Once you realize you aren’t entitled to them and they are a luxury item you’ll feel much better I promise. If a pixel in a video game defines your life you may want to get out more.
There are only 7,776,000 seconds in a Season. You’d need to average about 12.86 uniques per second to get even just 1 Resplendent Spark before the season would end.
