I Will Miss The Vampire Zones

I don’t know about you all but I’m going to miss the vampire zone so much. Sometimes I would refrain from doing nightmare dungeons just to grind in the vampire zones for targeted yellows and aspects even though nightmare dungeons give more xp + glyph xp. I can’t wait to learn about season 3.

Blood Harvests were seen as a big win this season, good changes coming for Helltides next season, but we’ll see what else they have planned for the open world. Kind of hope they add more options to obtain glyph exp but I doubt it.

I have Necromancer leveled from 1 to 100 pure on Vapire zones.
All uniques i am using is also from Vampire zones (like Ring of Mendeln, Howl from Below, Sacrilegious ring)
And the Vampire event is most social event in D4 so far. Its like Baalrun in D2

I’m not a big fan of those teleporters who turn into bats when they teleport around. I don’t like them in the main game either, lol. They do provide a challenge and are unique but I still don’t like them. They’re more abundant with vampires.

Otherwise the theme and atmosphere of the season was pretty cool. Nice and dark like the rest of the game.

Blood harvest is a big win (except end and nothing to do with blood). AoZ is a big loss.

You’d assume they will try to top it in season 3. A season 3 preview would be nice. They did the season 2 preview very early in season 1.

Its a big win. Content that isnt just a 1 shot fest. It also provides challenge and huge power from the gylph. Yes it doesnt change outside of AoZ because you cant half shot something.

I think the masses disagree with you. Would love to hear retention numbers after AoZ was released to see if its hurting or helping. Me and most my entire friend list have voted already.

Its not designed for everyone. The casual Bob’s of the world and D3 players would greatly dislike AoZ.

Devs specifically said this was end game pinnacle content. No everyone wants that and its 100% optional because you can 1 shot everything outside AoZ without the gylph.

perfect example of that is i went to wb today just to 1shot it because i could. avarice popped out of portal and died instantly while everyone was looking at each other and asking in local chat wtf just happened.

I have a ball sorc I could push past 5 if I wanted but why? All pushing does is let me level glyph to get farther but for what? There is no goal with AoZ other than finishing AoZ which is nearly impossible as Tier 25 is omega hard. No chase uniques. No cosmetics. Parties only as good as weakest link making that link feel bad. A title or two isnt enough for me to get excited here for this rogue-like gameplay.

Yep ive 1 shot the wb as well and every time local is like wut… lol

I wish we could apply blood to XP on the glyph. Or that we could trade it for something to do with fighting a rare boss.

I have like 30k and I have 2 chars maxed on their vamp stuff

They just need to increase zone population cap. I only see up to 3 other players at one time. Should be 10, 15 people.

i miss the vampire zone too… its so fun… like yesterday… 3 off us make so bis mess, i got kick for game ;DD

We will get another Blood Harvest zone in S3 but with a different theme.

ohh yes… same like in diablo 3 seasons… just a different color… we know that…

I guess there will still be a little something from S2 into S3

Same here! Vampire zone (green) is a “Street of Rage” zone : I and my barbarian we only play green zone ! The nightmare dungeon and others are just death boring. Hell tides get a bit better.

I hope they will recolour Blood harvest red and rename it to Helltide 2.0 .
Because BH are awesome and HT are complete crap in comparison.

Chests/events drop living steel and you farm materials for Var/Grigoire doing one activity.
Also BH chests are superior compared to HT ones. They also never drop sacred on T4 …
