Give me my level ups. Stop being stingy with 100 and let me have it all.
My demands are just. If they are not met, you will see me walk away at level 100, satisfied and no longer willing to level up new characters.
I have not participated in that much in diablo 3 or 2 seasons, yet I have hundreds of hours of just playing my one character in diablo 3 with 500 paragon levels.
Make it so.

within weeks of being out, diablo 3 released paragons to satisfy the masses as leveling to 99 and then stopping was boring.
You are wrong.
This is probably a season feature, because if this is the dead end, ummm… yah umm

I hope so, give me a REASON to play on the eternal realm. Don’t just send my characters there to die.

Paragon wasn’t out until late August… was a few months after launch, lol

Okay, and? You trying to find something, anything, to argue about?
They added paragon 100. Which was just as pointless since it was still the same “get to X and stop playing”
It took them almost two years to implement the current paragon system.
two years
Yeah. Diablo 3 was released in May, Paragon was introduced in August.
Diablo 4 hasn’t even been out for a month yet.
The issues with this game are much larger, but I’m just pointing out a flaw in your emotional argument.

lol, no you’re not. You just randomly popped in and said no and you’re still talking ever since. You’ve not made a single point, other than find the irregularity in what I said and provided us a date with “months” instead of “weeks”. Do you have any real input?
I think that would eliminate their “meaningful choices” stance… if everything can be unlocked, it would be less meaningful according to them.

nah, leveling up will take forever. you will have to make meaningful choices because otherwise your over all grind will be negligible the further in you get.

Strange sentence that contradicts itself…

Sorry… you lost me there… you don’t have to make ANY choices because everything will be open… or am I misunderstanding you?
in seasonal content, I don’t level up characters that I don’t enjoy playing, nor replay the same character for the sake of replaying it. Sorry, I must have made a run on sentence.
Ah, so you didn’t participate in seasons…
I get it now. Your sentence said you didn’t participate in Diablo 3 but had hundreds of hours and 500 paragon points, so it seemed weird to me.

as you level up, the levels will scale dramatically from 100 to whatever the max level would be at the end of all the boards, so lets say 1000. You don’t just get 1000 level ups for free, first you have to earn them and that’s easier said than done because of the scaling. So choices will matter because it’ll be a lot harder to form the “trail” to power after level 500 than it would be at level 101. At first, yeah, it’ll seem like you can level up forever, but by the time you’re halfway done you’ll know you’ll never see the max level and that’s what I want from diablo. Levels that I’ll never get to because I want them.
At level 100 we should continue to unlock endless paragon points. They could just make each point take exponential amounts of experience.
Just give us something to shoot for at 100 besides better loot.

Boring for most people I agree but exponential xp requirements for extra paragon would cost Blizzard nothing and satisfy some people so why not?

100% agree with you Xanikk, that’s the argument we went with with paragons for diablo 3 and it seemed to work just fine.
