When I’m Enchanting, in the Replacing Affix screen, may I see what the possible range is on the affix options. For instance, one of my options is +18.5 Total Armor, sure it’s an affix I need but I want to see if it’s a good roll.
A way to see any possible rolls with range for a given enchant would be even nicer ihmo.
YES!!! Why do I have to spend my hard earned resources several times just to learn that what I’m hoping to Enchant to isn’t available? Since this is a Take-it or Leave-it option, knowing my hoped-for outcome is on the spec I’m looking at changing would be a HUGE upgrade that would avoid a lot of time wasting effort.
You can just google “D4 item affixes”. Sites come up that tell you what can be on each piece of gear as well as the roll range.
True. but it’s generally considered bad design whenever a player needs to leave the game to find information about the game. (exceptions apply obviously)
I hear you but I can’t think of any game I have ever played in the last 20 years that didn’t require me to go look stuff up. Not one.
Ya, it’s getting pretty bad. I play a lot of games that now just have a hyperlink within the game that takes you to the games wiki.
*I would still much rather have the wiki than not of course…
They should probably just rework the ranges to be less drastic between the min and max, and it will work well regardless of whether they show the numbers
I’d say probably the “sweet spot” is 60%-100% for each of them, what do I mean, well if a roll is say 10-20% should be 12-20% (60% of max being the minimal value to roll), if it’s a 2%-6% (like usually happens with Lucky hit) make it be a 3.4%-6% instead, & e.t.c.
Don’t really care about the range, just make it less drastic and will work well
I dont remember the specifics but enchanting in D3 was better than this. It wasnt so blind. And since it is blind let us reroll more than a single affix per piece of gear.
