I want to know it's now that frozen targets also considered chilled?

If no, it’s awful. It will when frozen the enemy, the damage reduced a lot. That’s a bad designing.

I’m sorry, it appears you are having a stroke.

You should call an ambulance.

Judging from the foreign sounding name, and content, he probably doesn’t speak english as a first language.

To translate what I think he’s asking (don’t know the answer myself)

Are “frozen” targets also considered “chilled” targets? He is worried that if the targets are not considered “chilled” that there will be a significant damage loss.

That is what is being asked. I have found that lots of translation programs are… underwhelming.

In Diablo IV, Freeze has an additional functionality of applying automatically if enough Chill effects are stacked on the same target: whenever Chill reaches 100%, the enemy is Frozen. according to a source. So, Frozen is a greater version of Chill. Hopefully, this helps.

The way I understood it once the target gets chilled enough the target then becomes frozen. The frozen target will then take more damage over all from being frozen. The chilled effect it just a builder to get to the frozen condition.

It doesnt. If you guys would look at the sorc paragon board, you’d understand that it buffs the crap out of damage% to chilled targets. Hence why hes asking.

If Frozen removes chill, then its a massive DPS loss if you have the icefall board as a sorc.

To the OP, I doubt well get an anwser here, prob have to wait for release or get a reply from a CBT who was frost spec as I am curious as well.

its not his fault he has to learn english or use google translate to try and voice his concerns. We always feel the dev’s aren’t listening enough on the english side of things, just imagine how it is for people who don’t speak english

if i remember correctly your chills effects dont end with frozen state. They stick together. So you have both debuffs on them. otherwise Frost sorc would be pretty terrible.
chill 100% → target becomes frozen. Chill resets to 0% but can be accumulated while frozen.

Chilled->slow
Frozen-> stand still

It is a greater version, but it’s still considered as chill + frozen or only frozen as debuff removing the chill debuff?

I think that was OP main question.

It seems that there is a monkey wrench in the question. Without anything else, there are several skills, effects, etc. that are temporary. However, gear or paragon levels can change that. The question seems to come from a paragon effect that works with chill. So, if chill automatically becomes frozen, that limits the usefulness of the paragon points put into that part of the tree. Since I have only done Early Access and Open Beta, I cannot answer this question.
