It’s definitely more satisfying for the items whose powers are in the correct order.

That Cloak looks like a big oops and lack of testing/oversight.
Sadly, I cannot verify the system as I have terrible tendency to NOT find 3-4ga items…let alone 2’s.

Did my goblin event and just can’t seem to log in.
Drops have been so bad vs the playtime and sheer number of bosses that I’d rather face D2R rng for a bit of R&R.

I am not selling anything this season given what people have said based on trading with “duper” situations. I will just give stuff away though.
I am not sure about this. I have seen a lot of unique with 3 or 4GA affixes, tried to sell them but no buyer because their aspect roll was awful.

Just trying to bump this up coz I can’t bump up my Bug Report since we’re about to have another patch coming…
not a bug. As others have said. Aspects are affected by items being ancestral, or not. Unique rolls are still completely random.

actually yea just saw it too, my bad. Thanks for pointing it out. Apparently i totally missed it.
- The variance on the roll of a Unique Item’s power has been reduced. Additionally, the variance for the strength of the power further reduces for each Greater Affix present.
I couldnt say i noticed this at all.

Just flippy flop the numbers blizz. It’s not that hard. The lowest roll should be the top roll. This isn’t complex. Even for you guys.

Yesterday I saw someone on the Trade Chat trying to sell a 4GA Shroud of Khanduras with an 8.7 bonus, YIKES!
I just hope they fix it this coming patch…

I noticed. I found 2 4GA uniques since that patch, both with large random unique ranges, both maxed. Seems too much of a coincidence for it not to be an intended effect.

Its another example of Bliz failure. 9s is the worst roll on this not the best and its 4 GA so its not supposed to happen. They goofed on thinking high was good. The devs dint read the item.
I hate detriments. I think every detriment in the game should be rebalanced so its gone and maybe the item is a bit worse on positive side. This could be a special case they have to have more CD or you become perma immune.

There have still been a handful of lower rolls reported on 4ga items, not supposed to happen though.
But yeah, this sounds like something a dev did before having his coffee.

It’s not an Aspect… it’s an Affix. It’s a Unique, they don’t get Aspects.
It’s simply a poor roll on the Unique Power. Happens, especially with Fists of Fate.
Devs are supposedly addressing it. 
Everything you just said was wrong from start to finish.
Unique Powers are =/= an Aspect not an Affix
Unique Powers scale based on how many Greater Affixes have rolled on the gear, as of the start of this season. Raising the minimum “floor” per Greater Affix.
The problem here is the order in which the Aspect (Unique Power) is Ascending/Descending.
The new system believes 9 to be the best roll (highest number) when in fact it needs to be reversed, because the best roll is 3.
