I wouldnt say that there is a lot of stuff that massively hypes me up so far for s9, but the overall package looks like a solid season, especially considering that there appears to be a big focus on balancing stuff that overpeforms.
Personally also quite happy that we get gems for our jewelries back.
But that’ll mess up out current choice between skulls and diamonds!

My post was just kinda memeing on the guy and how he talked about the Horadric Spells.
How I honestly feel about them is: As soon as I saw the Powers screen, I was disappointed since its a reskin of the Boss powers. I am also a little sad to see how much passion (even if it may be a little forced) they have for the seasonal powers just to have them scrapped in a few months. I feel like at the least, some of the legendary gems from past seasons should stick around, and maybe we can only equip one.

Yeah I am having a blast with the S8 boss powers on my sorc but not sure I’d want to do it all over again if S9 is just a reskin.
Not fully committed to S9 with WoW classic MoP launching… but we’ll see what happens.
Getting that max rolled moonrise aspect is going to be harder than ever. Looks like they finally gave us a chase item
honestl i dont really have an issue with seasonal powers myselfs. Its a little fun twist to things. I agree with you tho, i wish a few things would make a permanent stay. Tho, we already had that in the past so who knows, maybe certain things will get to stay again.
I for sure would hope for the gems to stay in some kind of form ^^
Don’t care about any of that as long as they get balance better.
There’s so much hand-wringing about seasonal mechanics being temporary. The last thing this game needs is a permanent sloppy implementation of seasonal mechanics. They can’t even manage the base game properly (arguably not trying that hard… same smell). If they had been (or even just started) keeping the seasonal mechanics as implemented in their season, power creep would become a runaway train. We would just have a mess of poorly managed systems that don’t interact will with each other and probably strain the servers.
I don’t want them doing anything that makes their job more complicated until they get a lot better at their job.
