I really wanted some item and after a huge grind i finally got it. Now i tried to get a shako. But the game is not the same as before for me. Before i was able to solo duriel and now i really had to do my best to get in torment 3. But the dps is so bad goblins escape in helltide. And i just was there for better gear. The droprate for ilvl 800 gear is ridicuos low. Imagine a mythic would drop. I dont think so. If i have no skills for torment 3 then it stops there. Also i tried lillith again and i got to second phase that i never reached before. But my damage is bad (pulv druid) spirit sucks. I often cant attack and then she is up already. Also i had set plans for this new year to do things better and one thing is try to be the relax person i was before so i have to game less. Also rng games are very bad. Now i got the item i wanted and with the rng the shakos have i think its big timewaste to continue. I am just a casual loot addict. Not much skilled. So this makes me only angry and bad mood.
Now it would be just endless lvling till i can fill paragon board. Torment 2 vs 3 isnt worth it i think to expect a shako.
Also one of my new years things is less forum visits.
Anything beyond Torment 1 is aspirational, that was the whole point of them changing the difficulty tiers. You can farm everything in Torment 1, including your Shako. Now you will get more pieces of loot to drop while in higher torment levels, but most can tell you from experience on here that won’t help you with finding a good GA piece.
T2 seems to be the sweet spot for individuals such as yourself. I’ve seen a decent amount of groups there myself.
You won’t get a Mythic by doing activities in the open world. Your only chance is doing Bosses. You can farm Boss summoning mats in Torment 2 if this is where you are comfortable with your build. Once you have sufficient mats, move to Torment 3 if you unlocked the difficulty and list a Party for Bosses. Other players will join and help you doing the runs.
Pulv Druid is a weak build. You will need good gear to be comfortable in Torment 3 and very good gear if you want to access Torment 4.
I got my first and only shako in Season 6 and I’ve played 800+ hours in total from day 1 since the game went live. RNG is RNG. I got it on Torment 3 if that makes any difference. I did throw it on the stash pile, probably never to be used, does not fit my build
Again things that are still aspirational. Nothing wrong with sticking to Torment 2 though if that’s your comfortable spot. Getting to 100 on your glyphs wasn’t the intention of the devs as they’ve already stated. Now obviously players think differently, but that doesn’t change their philosophy at the moment.
You think so? I am an eternal player. Seasons are not worth it for me. I played one or 2. But after season they get eternal.
If i see these comments i feel its a huge grind. I liked before when i was able to do content solo. If i need others thats a big annoyance to me.
Edit: Ah maybe i first go try barb again. Liked the tornado version. Or i must search a better pulv build. The pulverize warbear gear looks like VoH gear so i went with the old overpower gear because i cant obtain VoH gear.
I meant not for soloing content ingame. If i copy someones build who has the skills and the brains to build something ingame then, after ingame i dont need them anymore. I remember back then when i first started i did around 250k - 400k crite on my druid. Then i copied some streamers build and i hit 4 million.
But for me there is not much to play. It has to be a controller game. I am still thinking what i can do in my free time instead of gaming. Ofc i go to the gym twice a week but i cant every day. Need some rest too.
I just read i can also do lillith in torment 1. Does it give the same rewards as back then? Title etc. Or are they not obtainable anymore? I got the mount because someone carried me there. But for other reward i have to solo her.
Ah oke. Ty. If i am not mistaken i saw a challenge that she has to be soloed for some reward. And the spark is only once i think. I still have it. Never crafted a shako. I want them to drop.
do the ladder bosses id say. in s6 i got most of my mythics doing varshan etc. i mean, eventually im giga lucky, but id say that these bosses do have a pretty solid chance by now
It is pretty normal the lack of skill and understanding is leading you to not have fun, it happens in every game. Totally agree, what i don’t get is why some people use forum as their personal diary.
I was done with the season. I usually like to push beyond the 90% but wasn’t seeing it happened this time, the drop rate of Ancestrals is too low. After stopping for a while, I went back to Eternal to update my old builds, including my Pulv Druid from S4. Its legacy gear was all 3 and 4 GA. Different times.
I already had the Mythics and generic gear I could use for my druid and made it to Torment 4 but my main weapon, 2H Mace, is still Legendary. Hurts my damage, which is already a bit low. Tried doing Hordes on Torment 3 where it is more comfortable but no success in getting an Ancestral mace.
I will check if I have Druid gear I can offer you. Unfortunately, I don’t think I have much. I can also propose you to do Boss runs to try to get you a Mythic. I still have mats (won’t use lmy Druid for that).
If you are interested, just give me your BattleTag and I will invite you when we are both online. I am still playing regularly.
I am from europe. I dont know about many players here, i use the US forums instead of europe. But i think we cant party up with the US players. But if you are from eu i will send my btag
I tend to disagree. Realistically you need to get your glyphs at least 45 for the power boost, which requires T2. I don’t think many people enter the game intending to end it being weak or merely getting by.
I will say that having done the Paragon 300/max glyphs/T4 since Day 2 thing that there is very little in it worth it past Paragon 250 and T3 or probably honestly at all.
I am from EU too. Currently in game with my Pulv Druid. Finally managed to get an Ancestral 2H Mace.
I have Druid Ancestral Uniques that I can give you. Not the best quality but good enough for a start.
The D4 team specifically said it was aspirational content, that’s the point. You can disagree (as do I) but that’s the philosophy it was supposedly created with, meaning until they flip flop again, the game is not built with the intention of progression beyond T1 being a given.
