I just got an ancestral magic sword. I think they are so rare as they mostly get auto salvaged, but that begs the question, why are they a thing to begin with?

Ive got yellow item 800 too…it can prolly hapend only from gambling or whisper caches since in torment yellow and blue gets autosalvage…but they do exists…for what reason? Idk.
