Oh. Troll. Got it. Ciao ciao.
I tempered and masterworked all the gear to try out Heartseeker, but I couldn’t. It didn’t feel right after Andariel’s Barrage last season. I hope you had at least some success though.
So ‘your’ admitting to Trolling me? Interesting Regardless the Dance of Knives skill is the best Rogue skill they’ve added to her repertoire and I really wish they hadn’t deleted the Demon Hunter and her Strafe skill
Imagine a season featuring HOTA Barbarian, Bone Spear Necromancer, Ball Lightning Sorcerer (assuming no server issues), and Lightning Spear Sorcerer. Throw in Heartseeker and Andariel’s Barrage Rogue, and Druid because we need their runewords. Plus, there’s Spiritborn. This could be the best season ever!
*you’re
Now i’m trolling you
I did notice one thing of interest, I’ve gotten over six Asheara’s khanjar’s {never got one before} And yet no Dagger of Condemnation and I’ve always gotten at least one of those
I am able to clear Pit 93 with very optimized gear. The open world content and bosses die really fast and are not a problem at all. This is not what I wanted to play this season tho, I wanted to play Victimize to farm my Andariel’s pieces but I ended up going all in with Victimize because mobs gotta be killed fast in order to survive T4. Poisoned mobs have their life bars completely filled and I know they will die in a second or two but those 2 seconds are enough to overwhelm a melee build that’s not killing instantly but rather dealing DoT.
I also hate Dance of Knives and Flurry have never been an interesting skill for me so this HS Victimize is the only viable build I can play.
Seems very viable to me. But for example, why didn’t T8 Hordes last season overwhelm the Andariel’s Barrage Rogue? I don’t get it. It still was damage over time. Or are T4 mobs now harder than T8 Hordes last season?
My rogue works just fine couldn’t care less about SB.
Just because the rogue can’t hit tippy top content doesn’t mean they’re not worth playing….
I hear ya but just to put things into perspective - Rogue was clearing Pit 158s last season - they now top out at 112.
What a stupid mindset. Why does your crappy build needs to be able to do Pit 150, the pinnacle difficulty exactly?
The Andy nerf was a bit too heavy handed. Im not even sure why it needed a nerf to begin with never mind an undocumented stealth nerf.
What are your glyph lvls?
I am playing Victimize as well but it’s lagging behind other key passive. They overnerfed it from the PTR.
Also couldn’t care less about pit lvls like I said tippy top content means nothing to me I play hardcore I just want to survive.
And don’t take that as me trying to undermine what you’re saying I just truly believe their still fun to play
158 last season is irrelevant. Originally they only intended to have 100 pit levels that they didn’t expect to be completed, this season. Then they remembered they suck at math and thought they better add 50 more levels just in case.
Yea that all kind of happened right before the season started too bc I remember listening to the dev chat and them saying they’d be surprised if anyone was running 100+ pits.
and i miss my sorc
i hate blizz and their spiritborns, they ruined everything
Big facts. I’ve rogue mained every season (including this one) and after hitting paragon 250 I hit a ceiling. I made a SB and 2 hours later with regular gear I surpassed my rogue. We get it, its new, theres bugs yatta yatta, just give us 1 viable rogue build that can aim to complete pit 120s or fix DoT.
Yes, mobs have more health, Elites go unstoppable quicker than before and density is way higher.
All 5 are 100.
It isn’t ‘‘lagging’’ it just has an ICD (internal cooldown) so the explosions can’t happen that often.
The difference between the nerf to Victimize and the nerf to Andariel’s is: Victimize will actually acumulate the damage while procs aren’t happening, meaning that if you get Victimize to trigger 3 times before the next proc happens then that proc will deal x4 times its damage (1 from that trigger and 3 triggers that didn’t happend because of the ICD). That’s not the case for Andariel’s. You will still be dealing the same amount of DoT despite the novas having an ICD. The novas happening more often (like they did back in S5) helped the build to deal damage enough to clear the trash and also kill Elites that were around 35% health, that’s not the case anymore and those seconds count a lot in T4. The build could be played in T3 but well, we all know that T3 is simply not enough, at least not for me.
Like I said: people abused way too hard of the Andariel’s Barrage last season. I think that build should’ve never been a thing and well, the consecuence is that they nerfed the item instead of the skill somehow and Puncture with every other Andariel’s variant is not viable to clear peak content.
