I miss my Rogue :(

I understand that, but I like Diablo because I like perfecting a character. So that means that if I can’t get my glyphs to the max level of 100 myself without the help of Spiritborn or Necro players, I don’t like the game design in this regard. But I heard it was the same in Diablo 3.

That doesn’t seem to be a reasonable expectation with the direction the game has been going.

That may be true but maxing out your glyphs is well within reason because that’s been the expectation up until this season for all classes.

Sure, regarding 3 GA gear, it is nearly impossible, but regarding glyphs, there was no issue at all in season 4 and 5 which I liked a lot.

and then things changed… you can keep making yourself unhappy with expectations that don’t match reality.

I really thought about making a Necro, because it looks so sick when there are blood waves going in multiple directions at the Blood Maiden even in Helltide. So you got that.

Nothing to be unhappy about over here. My point was, going into S6, it would’ve been well within reason to think you’d be able to max out your glyphs no matter which class you selected. I’m okay with playing whatever is in front of me but I can understand the frustration from players who didn’t start by rolling SB.

My dream is for a Firewall / Hydra build to be S+ tier eventually. I just wanna set it and forget it while watching everything burn. It was awesome in the open beta and then they gutted it.

season 4 was fun

I did Bash/Thorns that season up to Pit 119. Felt great chaining enemies with Paingorgers and they just melt. Also leveling with Bash was so easy. It was the season where I got my first Hardcore character to 100.

even Andariel is a SB item now.

Actually I have a Quill Volley Spiritborne & A Dance of Knives Rogue and I’ve pretty much given up on the Spiritborne because she just can’t keep up with my Rogue…Not that I wouldn’t prefer Strafe over Dance of Knives, Dance of Knives doesn’t have the range it also lags and disconects or pauses when I wish it wouldn’t, However Dance of Knives just works better than anything the Rogue could use previously and I’m not even that great a player. End of story the Spiritborne isn’t as OP As some of you claim if I’d prefer the Rogue over the Spiritborne

Disagree. I paid attention to campfire chats and patch notes. I came away not expecting to max my glyphs and i still don’t expect to, on my spiritborn. I’m gonna get them as far as i can though until i start working on other classes that i want to play.

I’m currently playing a roa rogue after my Spiritborn and I’m quite enjoying it, but, damn, some things take so long to kill and I really appreciate just how utterly daft and OP SBs are now lol

I have a Quill Volley and a DoK and I have to believe that you’re either playing a low level or joking. DoK at Pit 80 and above is an exercise in frustration. Also, “anything?”. Both pre-nerf Andariel’s and pre-nerf Heartseeker were both better and less repetitious.

YOUR spiritborn isn’t as OP as people who are using the most broken/bugged mechanics.

Says you…

Yes, I tried and I tried really hard by also using Verathiel for the energy use so I could get some runes benefits. Nothing worked well enough to make me think this is viable in T4. The monster density is simply overwhelming for this build and we know posioned mobs take a second or two before they die, in those 2 seconds they would either go unstoppable or simply cast another skill that would kill you. The Puncture variant have never been the most tanky among the Andariel’s builds, but this time is simply not viable despite Second Wind constantly giving me barrier.

I tried an Andariel’s Visage build for Spiritborn without involving the bugs and the build was doing great. Then I removed Andariel’s to check how much of it was the item doing and it didn’t change at all the outcome. The class is simply that good.

I am playing Victimize Heartseeker as my main. I tried splashing Andariel’s because I already have 172% LHC on my Heartseeker skill and the attack speed is cool but I was losing damage due to having a better option avaible: Shako or Heir of Perdition.

They killed the item and also the build. They wanted to make sure that no one was able to play a viable Andariel’s beyond Spiritborn this season. People abused really hard of it last season with that M1PY’s rage build. I knew nerfs were coming for the build but I never thought they were going to kill an entire playstyle which such work to make it viable.

I am not complaining anymore. I will play what’s left until PoE 2 EA releases and will move on from D4. Gave too many oportunities to this game but this season killing my favorite builds and not tunning down SB in time is just too much, I basically payed for having less fun, that’s on me I guess.
