I’ve been kinda struggling trying to level a sorc (world tier 2) so I’m thinking of builds and I made something kinda good! I’m not sure if this is a known build or anything (purposely staying away from guides) but it’s just been good for me and I went from not being able to kill stuff to melting everything so thought I’d share:
Chain lightning focused build BUT with some frost
enchantments: frostbolt, ice shards
only leggo I have: chain lightning regens 5 mana if it bounces off you
so idea is - because of frostbolt enchantment, chain lightning applies chill. I then pick up any passives that add damage to chilled enemies/frozen. Chain lightning something enough and it will freeze, then ice shard enchantment (which seems to hurt a LOT) will melt it also. Also frost nova, with vulnerability enchant. All those combined and single target damage is nuts
And for gear, have a bunch of gear with % more dmg to slowed and % dmg to crowd controlled enemies (since slow counts as CC) so it double dips.
Combine those with Vyr’s Mastery talent, take Deep Freeze cause its cool af, Glass Cannon.
For primary I’m using Arc Lash right now and I picked up 3 points in shocking impact (big dmg chunk if you stun something) so the 10th Arc Lash does big dam. I’m not sure on the primary yet though, maybe frostbolt might be better, heck maybe firebolt? Or spark? Will spark apply chill 4 times as fast therefore freezing 4 times as fast?
Any suggestions to improve are appreciated, but that’s what I got so far. Least I can level faster now
