Is it me or D4 is just not fun anymore? Do I need to take a break from Diablo for a season or two ?

I think playing in the open world was more fun.
Now we are stuck inside NMDungeons or stuck inside Pits, next Season we willl be stuck inside Hordes.
Open World had so much potential

The season just started. Give a little chance, it might grow on you.
Right here on the forums of course. Tons o’ fun here. Too bad the forums will go back to being a ghost town in a couple weeks. I used to get hours of entertainment out of this place.

The game has never been fun from the beginning. It’s more like a punishment.

Fun is subjective. PoE feels like a job to me and PoE 2 is the Souls like game I never wanted to play. Last Epoch is fine but has a horrible end game and the graphics and features are inferior to D4. Granted, the builds are linear, the loot uninteresting compared to D2 and loot centered games and everything is still a bit too dumbed down, but I am having fun with each season until I burn out and jump into another game for a bit. D4 just needs a major update with a better loot system and more build diversity that can actually compete. They also need to get rid of all the annoying snapshot effects which causes each fight to be the same routine.
Yeah this might be it, I felt stuck alone in NM dungeons I guess.
That’s the theme of the season - Season of the fun police.
They looked at the least played part of the game - NMD - and built a season forcing us into doing them.
Then they reduce the drops of sigils and sigil powder.
Then they decided Arcana drops have to be rarer then mythics
Season is a shambles!
Didn’t play last season and d4 isn’t even downloaded anymore lol, I got no stake in the fight anymore but still fun to visit the forums, sadly I’ve lost all hope
It’s fun at the start of the season for a bit.
Ok wait a second and hear me out. People have been complaining, on here, that NMD were boring and there is little to no reason to do them. They were the least played part because the rewards sucked and obducite was better obtained elsewhere. Now they add some element to NMD and you complain about it.
The sigils and sigil powder are bugged. They’ll be fixed, but yes it is annoying. You are correct.
The arcana feels like the exact same thing with witch altars in S7 (I think). You couldnt find them until they increased the occurence. I get that the rate is really low for arcana right now, but dont you want to try the season a little before everything drops?
Forcing people into another activity with how the pit was received is just dumb period, these things should be earnable in more places

I think the fun is in other games. Hate to say it.

Yes, if you dont have fun you should do something you enjoy. Seems pretty simple to me. Im not sure why you need people on the internet to tell you what should be obvious.
There’s no fun in D4 anymore, and season after season become worst.
