I honestly prefer the cosmetic business model for this game

This game could easily justify a $10/month subscription. I really don’t mind the whole cosmetic shop thing given the game itself charges nothing on an ongoing basis. I’ve paid for a few sets to help support the game and honestly the few I bought were pretty sick.

I just wish some of the things were not so expensive. I want that frost horse but im not about to pay $65 for another mount plat combo

id pay $65 for 7800 plat. use that plat for the next 10 battlepasses

I’m glad they are expensive, so I don’t buy them without thinking.

This sounds like a great idea in theory…until you have that moment where you are like “I don’t know if I want to waste another season’s worth of time on this” :stuck_out_tongue:

Same. I’ve bought like 4 total and you could probably guess which ones given how much better they looked than everything else.

Hell’s Champion
Wraith Lord
Ash Knight
Forget the name but that Druid one with bloody necromancer like armor and huge antlers on the helm

Tusked Lord

I have bought 2
Sightless Seer
Lion of Arreat

That’s it. From here out I’m gonna probably budget 2 sets per season. That seems reasonable if the sets are great.

Hobos complain about game stores. Only Hobos. Learn how to sell schedule 1 and become a proper peasant.

I think the cost is stupid. I’ve bought maybe a$65 worth of plat, so basically nothing, but see no one in game wearing cosmetics.

Who are they even selling these stupid things to? The Christmas horse bundle is unfathomable.

Maybe they’re just making sure is no one is definitely buying them before trying something else?

As it stands, the store is just generating bad will for the game and blizzard.

What are you even talking about, “nothing on an ongoing basis”? What do you think season passes are for? They charged us $70-100 for the base game. They have made enough already to fund multiple games. AND they’re charging double standard prices for their cosmetics. I’m not against them selling them. I’m against them to selling cosmetics for so much. While simultaneously depriving us of any meaningful loot overall in the game, like transmog sets of interesting armors that you have to hunt.

I see a sheet tonne of folk rockin that last Barb skin. I have it myself. The one with the flaming Maul. But because I just want to be a club swaying beserker, I’m not meta. Need to use Lunge because it’s a fuking lame skill that gives you more than it’s worth.

And only illiterates don’t know how to capitalise.

I’d buy but there’s nothing I want. I’d like something warrior for my rogue. Something rugged but regular. I don’t want fur and not really cloth either. I want it to be light and I want to show my arms cause I have a great tattoo, the only thing I’ve found so far that I liked. Metal together with leather is good, chainmail maybe. Plate perhaps, but not too much. It needs to be modest enough, no big things sticking out or large shoulderplates that make me look like some american football player. I’m particular about it. And I will absolutely never purchase a rose showered horse, that they can forget about. If there’s a horse to be purchased it should be black and I don’t need barding but a good saddle. So yea, looking at the things they’re selling we will not come to an agreement.
In before you say there’s black horses: I got a grey horse that is fine. To make a deal about this it has to be cool and nothing they’re selling is. Not to me.

I enjoy being an illiterate hobo, saves expectations.

The sexty rogue outfit that makes you look like your holding back a shiz is the best Biden Bucks spent.

Why would there be an ongoing charge for a beta release and highly underdeveloped idea for what appears to be a remake of Diablo 3 with similar issues like “technical limitations” of stash amount. What is it about this cash shop platform with Diablo 3.5 addon that justifies a monthly charge to you? “Live service” is just a marketing term… they can choose to support their platform or abandon it which has nothing to do with it being live or not. They bragged over $666 million were earned… why would there be a monthly charge on this scummy ceo cash option product?

Snail games did it with Ark dlcs while they were in same state as this under performing Diablo 4 release. Under developed and bending consumers over. They’re currently very high in debt and under performing on the market and just released another highly under developed ark remake. Consumers learn…
