I’m level 90 and I’ve got 87m gold. Nothing to spend it on because my gear is damn near perfectly rolled BIS outside of no Gohr’s.
Stop salvaging and sell everything.

I had to change my mindset, something has to be a clear upgrade for me to pump money into it as a upgrade; I got hooked on doing minor upgrades and money went faster then I could make it, and soul crystals. Now I wait… and only do the big upgrades, a lot more money in the pocket. Went from floating around 1 mil to now sitting around 35 mil and more coming in.
On Gohr’s, what you have now is probably better (post explosion nerf).
Gold seems easy to get. Sometimes I sell things. Sometimes I salvage things. I still have about 40,000,000 gold at level 74 and I spend lots on upgrading equipment and tearing aspects off of gear.
The storage space is abysmal, so I actually deleted a few million gold worth of aspects to make more room recently.
I bought the saddle for 5,000,000 gold, too, lol.
I mean you got lucky on rolls =/

I hear you. If I do not get a roll i want after 2, or maybe 3 tries… I’m not going down the rabbit-hole any further and scrap the item. Its an overall loss and a gamble, but that 4th, 5th and 6th roll make the first 3 look like chump-change.

the big sink is rerolling affixes, that cost goes up QUICKLY.
but there’s a fair bit of something else too: the best way to get gold is to vacuum up an inventory full of yellows and vendor them. I think people are just heading to the blacksmith and salvaging them all, even when they have more than enough of the materials than they need (you don’t really use that many iron ore, leather, or veiled crystals). I know I was for a while.
I spend gold like I do money… it goes out as it comes in

You get to put it aside in your bank while you wait to upgrade it, chant it, put a good aspect on it…

What to spend even more money? You can upgrade a legendary (and on some) this also level the attached affix… which can then be removed and retain it’s upgrade… Then placed on the new piece of gear… then the item leveled up again (not the affix again though).
400k here haha. gold is easy to obtain.I just don’t sell everything… obtaining currency here is far easier vs POE. those who have gold issue in D4 will absolutely hate POE… lol.
I had 250 million. Can use that on rerolling a single item quick. Just wait till you get that perfect Ring or weapon that just needs that one stat…10 rolls later you out 100 million gold.

POE gold is next to worthless unless you play ruthless.
why… its so unnecessary. If you’re not in WT4 you shouldn’t be enchanting items and even then you should be selective about what actually needs an enchant.
Without enchanting at all you should be able to easily clear to level 100 (easy combat, not time ugh the time ; ; )
stopped salvaging anything that isnt a sacred legendary or above (as those have the rare crafting mat)
(at 70) rolling an item 8 times costs you like 3M (and scales hard)
idk about others but my luck on getting roll i want (not even a specific value just the stat itself) is awful to point even 10 rolls i wont hit it.
I mean my RNG is i’ve yet to see a single exposed flesh aspect for rings and i’ve spent every last tree, orbol, etc doing literally nothing but rings for it.
I’ve found so many unique yet can’t get a single aspect?
RNG is RNG. not everyone has same luck.
