I have finally gained a couple 4 star items now, pity that they will be gone in two weeks.
Yeah, thats what happens towards the end of a season.
But our items are not truly gone they go to Eternal, so… there’s that…

Still waste…what to do in ethereal with them when end game sucks…
Even if you had the genuine ability to mold the end game to exactly the way you want, somebody somewhere may still say it “sucks”.

There will always be a stopping point. Not that I don’t want more content added in of course. I’d actually like some condensing done of all the endgame activities while also increasing their depth. However, it would only keep me in the game for so long.
Eternal means nothing… just a waste of time
Just as much a waste of time as seasonal considering they are almost exactly the same this season.

This is why I dont bother farming for them. There is no point. I either get them by the time I feel my character is complete or I don’t and I either roll a new character or just stop playing till I am interested in a new season.

I would agree if they stopped making gear legacy there lol. No point in eternal to me if that grind is pretty much erased as well.

Hopefully we’re done with the legacy nonsense for a while. I don’t see them reseting the itemization AGAIN so soon.

I would think it would be a while before they do that again but who knows? Thats a problem too. I don’t trust it so I wont do it. If I come to trust it might be so long before I did that they are ready to do another round of it so I would just be peeved again. So again, to me no point.

Depends on how you play. I personally don’t play Eternal, but if others do - those items aren’t gone.
Personally, I wish that all items earned in Season, including Seasonal powers/modifications remained permanent in Eternal. I stopped playing Eternal at the start of S2 when I realized that Blizzard had a vastly different definition of “Eternal” than what the word actually means. Everything changes every Season anyways, so there’s little point (imo) to keeping characters there.

They go to Eternal and then get reset / discontinued / nerfed.
The gear was going to legacy either way. They had two options - powercreep up VoH gear, or make things legacy and nerf the old gear. Either way, all old gear was going to get obsoleted. That’s just the reality; devs chose the latter option.

So do your items go away or not, Im confused.
On the bright side you can start another season grind or see what you can grind in eternal with what you got in the season, have fun with it, it’s a game after all not life.

I have a charity bin you can donate to to translate into good karma and good will – your rng was not wasted.
They do not.
All of your seasonal characters, gear, loot, materials, etc. are moved to a non-seasonal server, the Eternal Realm, where you can continue to play them, but can no longer take part in any future seasonal themes or activities. They can exist there for as long as you want them to.
For the next season, and if you want to play it, you need to make a new character or characters, but you have nothing on you - nothing from the previous season is carried over - and you have to re-level, re-farm, re-collect all of the things you need, levelling your character from level 1 to whatever level you stop at.
And once that next season ends, the same thing occurs - all of your next season characters, gear, loot, etc. is again moved to the Eternal Realm and can be shared by any non-season characters you have there.
