Not that anyone cares, but I guess I’ll just scream into the void because masterworking is my least favorite thing. I like games with grinding, obviously, or I wouldn’t play D4 to begin with. I like going around and murdering things (especially treasure goblins because they are shiny and it makes my black heart happy). But masterworking? Seriously.
I play with a friend, and now that we’ve gotten pretty much the best gear possible for 925 and have to start masterworking to make gear better to get more gear that’s better to get… you get the picture, you know how it goes; it’s a part of the game, but the journey has gotten tedious and boring.
Grinding the pit over and over and over and over again just isn’t fun, especially when you only get half the materials if you aren’t the one who started it. (Yes, yes, the person who started it is “paying” for it, but do we really have a shortage of materials? I could contribute! FFS.)
I don’t want to run the pit. If I wanted a timed run, I’d do the thingit in Gea Kul.
Maybe my game play is just too casual for D4, but I’m just booooooored. I really hope they look into masterworking and consider just how tedious it can be to the average player.
Look, Blizz, I just want to kill stuff in an enjoyable way.
The Maiden, the world boss, legion events = yes. They’re cooperative, they’re fun, they drop some good things.
The Pit? BOO. Big old BOO. Masterworking? Same. Tempering? Ehhhh, I don’t like it, but at least you get a few tries and the materials are attainable.
There. Screaming into the abyss.
Time to find a new game until next season, I guess
(I know, I know, sadface, Blizz can’t afford to lose a sIngLe pLaYer. )
Blah blah blah.
If anyone at Blizz actually looks at these and considers feedback, pleeaaaaase consider adding other ways to get masterworking materials (especially multiplayer options!).
Thanks, and #sorrynotsorry for the ramble.
