I hate helltides a lot, a lot, i think its by far the worst content in this game. Please make forgotten souls drop from other activities, and also make the steel drop from other activities too. Helltides sucks, i hate time gated stuff.

Join the club. Helltides are not fun and you are forced to do them if you want to craft gear or do Ubers. Not to mention the chests could bug and you lose out like I did the other day. Tped to town like 10 times, watched a bunch of people open an invisible chest and the helltide ended with me wasting 400 cinders. NOT FUN.

Helltides were fun last season when they had endless enemies. Now there’s maybe 1/10, it’s empty and garbage.

I loathe being forced into Helltides for critical components. One big brown sandy environment every single time. Boring af.

Yeah, I despise helltides. They’re the worst activity in the entire game.
It’s just a more inconvenient, less rewarding copy of the base game. You’re killing monsters for loot, but the loot sucks, and there are the additional steps of collecting resources and opening chests added between. You also don’t get paragon xp.
Helltides are unbearable.

And you can only open Living steel/Mysterious Chest to maximise your cinders worth because the rest of the chest suck.
Then lastly making us run around doing peekaboo looking for invisible chests within time limit or forced to alt tab to your friendly neighbourhood HellTides dot com for location.

The only real issue i have with helltides is the invisible chest bug. Never had an issue getting 1500 shards in any hell tide since i was level 60. It is annoying that they arent constant like the blood harvest, but meh.

I just did my LAST Helltide. F this crap. Worst content in an ARPG ever, plus bugged. Compete for trash mobs with a dozen other people only to log out and in hoping to make the gorram chest even appear.
This is absolutely shameful. They don’t even have enough respect for the players to even acknowledge the bug. Disgusting. Is anyone telling Blizzard on twitter or whatever?
Helltide ruined Season 2 full stop. The sad thing is, they could have simply fixed it but chose not to. THATs what they think of us.

For the sake of feedback: Also I am done with Helltides. I collected materials to spawn Duriel 3 times and that was enough for me.
I agree, I wish helltides at least were on consistently, incentivized higher risk for reward type play and had higher mob density.
I think helltides are boring because they are way too easy. They should consider scaling difficulty the more cinders you hold, but increase the cinder drop rate to incentivize riskier play to finish quicker.
No mobs in area long helltide spawn time…
whosaid that should be fun? Blizzard is a company that need to do money, so forcing you to “stay” is game as much as possible means they make money, that’'s all.

Helltides honestly wouldn’t be so bad if they weren’t time gated, spawned more mobs with faster respawn timers and they didn’t lock things behind them (steel and forgotten souls). They said they wanted to encourage people to participate. This isn’t encouraging. This is forcing. Encouraging would mean that there are other ways to get what we need from there but maybe helltides have a “little” better drop rate. But there is no other way to get the living steel and drop rate on forgotten souls is almost nonexistent outside of helltides. So yes we are “forced” to participate…not encouraged.

Did they just nerf the crap out of cinder drops or something? I log in with 40 minutes left. Go okay, I can get an easy two. Mowing down mobs like crazy thinking this is going to be quick. 25 minutes later I finally get 300 and didn’t even bother trying for the 2nd. WTF?
I know git gud because you get 1000 in 30 seconds…
