As I said above,
When I turned 70 and finished my capstone (Hardcore) - I found that the encounters, events, helltide - all of it felt significantly more rewarding, fun - challenging - and the density of the mobs/packs made encounters feel exciting again - not to mention the loot was obviously a LOT better.
With that said, it’s been mentioned - but the bosses are an absolute push-over and in many cases, a waste of your time if you’re just doing the dungeon for XP/Items and efficiency.
I realize though, I am speaking from a place of privilege (Rogue) in that we have multiple forms of immunity when it comes to CC - So I hope that more classes see ways to handle this (PS Did you know there is a potion you can get a recipe for in a sidequest that removes CC AND gives you 50% resistance to CC / Poison for 30 minutes after?)
Anyhow, back to the grind!
I feel the complete opposite. I realised in wt3 what the game was going to offer me. Im lvl 71 now and am insanely bored
It’s the same to me, but you should try other classes. Rogue is in no way good in terms of Unstoppable. Druid and Barbarian are kings and Sorc and Necro just don’t need as much imho.
Sacred gear just has no place in the game, if you ask me and Ancestral is real Diablo 2 loot where it can be “Superior” as it varies in power level up to 820.
I’m finding the dungeons to be quite a bit more of a challenge than the previous two tiers - 5x the density, 2x the loot - what parts of IV are you not a fan of? For conversations sake!
I’m definitely feeling more pulled to play than I was between 50-64 that’s for sure!
Though, with all this said - I am also playing HARDCORE so that I don’t feel the boredom set in, if I was softcore, I would have quit long ago.

I’m honestly LOVING imbue/shadow clone - I have my shadow imbues proccing for over 100k at lvl 70 - sweeping entire rooms clear with a single dash - I feel very much like a ninja - While a single shot of poison imbue will 1 shot the butcher in a 2 man party.
