It really didn’t have enough content on release. Mostly an end game and chase items fail. However, to their credit, they improved the game slowly. D2 and D3 were not what they were on release either! D3 wasn’t even the same game after its Xpack. OG D3 was actually hard.
It was actually something to be proud of beating pre nerf.

A expansion should not cost the same or more then the base game tho. In that regard its being greedy. They would have easily made profts off $30 for base dlc and $60 for the ultimate dlc to charge $60 for the base dlc or $100 for the ultimate dlc is not business thats just straight greed.
Anyone who thinks D3 was the best diablo is ignorant or never played diablo 2 to this day diablo 2 is ranked the best in series followed by diablo 4. Its sad that diablo 3 and the 1st diablo are fighting for last place lol ide personally say the 1st diablo was better then diablo 3. And im paragon 7,000+ on D3 and grew up playing the series since D1. D3 was crap 
I never claimed that. I played D2 on launch and still play the damn game. It’s better than D3 and D4.
