Playing a blizzard sorc right now and it is fully min maxed… But overtime I feel more and more pressed to play a barb due to them playing with me in groups or just seeing so many roaming the world.
When playing in a group from sanctuary discord I feel really forced because these barbs are sweats and it shows with their ego in voice coms as well. Snobby sense of teamplay where they feel no one else matters but themselves until they get 1 shot due to a mistake or something else and blame the others in group or spam ask for rez repeatedly lol
So do I join this toxic cult of 1 shot barbs/charge barbs or watch them cry when it all gets nerfed due to their giant egos during this season so far?
You’re lumping every Barbarian into one group based on your experiences with a few of them.
I have played with several Barbarians this season and only one was a jerk.
It’s your choice if you want to roll a Barbarian but ask yourself this. Are you doing so because you want to, or feel you have to satisfy your desire to deal more DPS.
Barbs probably wont be nerfed until after this season is over.
Play one if you want. Or roll another class.
Personally, i played barb. Was super powerful. After that, i rolled a druid. I liked my lightening druid. Good clearing speed. Entertaining. Decided to roll a minion necro to mess around with. It is kinda fun, but slow.
Point being, roll what you want. Play how you want. Have fun. Soon as you start not having any fun or feel pushed to play, game is over for you and time to move on imho.

Summoning Heralds or Legions, random events etc. I always feel bad.
Nobody gets to participate.
They don’t even get to 1shot Ashava because it’s about 85% dead and doesn’t jump because it hits some threshold of HP where it’s forced into a later phase.
After seeing how powerful they were last season and the minimal nerfs to overpower, I made sure to roll barb at the start of this season. Definitely don’t regret. Always got invited to groups who had mats then carried them with one shots. Had work pulled up on one monitor and would one shot duriel on the other for about 2 weeks. Got all the Ubers again except for the staff which I have on eternal. Uber stones as well. Never had to grind mats. Was great. Problem is, is that it was too great. I usually roll sorc but can’t bring myself to do it rt now after easy mode on Barb.
This your first arpg? The game is not world of warcraft. There are no reasons to complain that you’re not strong enough. Change your build. Research. Stop crying on forums that the game is too hard. Let’s not turn Diablo into Retail.
I never played Barb…and seeing everybody else playing one makes me NOT want to play one cause I’ll be just like Everybody else! Lol
My current sorc level 99 about to hit 100 is the only thing I’m on… I may consider playing Barb considering what this Mid Season thing is gonna be about.
They did mention that they were going to add balance changes mid season with S3, we’ll see if they stick to that plan or not. I am rather curious what tomorrow will bring.
The question is really, are their egos infecting you? Lol. What is fun for you? Do you think it is fun to play a barb? If so, then do it. If not, then don’t do it. What makes you happy in the game? Are you trying to ask Blizzard to nerf barbs sooner? Say it out loud, my friend.
I knew this already. The game may be different, this very thing is always the same. For many, the fun of a game comes from being able to look down upon others! Hahaha. Not nice.
I really hope blizzard doesn’t nerf barbs and they buff the others because I’ve played all classes this season and unless you make the most meta of builds you can’t even clear t90 dungeons and even the meta builds of other classes are so underwhelming to a fully Uber up’d barbarian and that’s how a build should feel with Ubers so barb is in the right spot imo, if they nerf him it will seal the deal for me.
I agree. Buff, not nerf! Blizzard already said this before, so we will see. They know it is a fact that most players welcome buffing, not nerfing. It is a fact!
When it appears that you are saying you want to be a barbarian because they are toxic jerks and nothing to do with the class, it looks like to me you just want to be a jerk instead of playing a barb because it is a barb
Barb can be a fun class to play, but the broken stuff really hurts it more than it helps.
Yes all the lemmings will play it till the next broken build. But fixing those would show, that the class is actually fun without the broken issues.
I played barb in s2 and did not touch HOTA once it became obvious it was broken. Was still very fun.
