i agree, we for sure have differing povs on that. Its the exact opposite for me indeed ^^
no hard feelings, we all expect different things.

Yeah, things should be balanced. Weaker builds should be capable. Why have it if no can do it? It makes no sense.
They’re always nerfing things. Can’t even play my old builds. There are even less builds now. It’s boring.
Up or Down between the builds is irrelevant. They just need to close the gap.
Then they can readjust environment balance to that. IF it is too difficult with all builds at that point, by all means let them know thy are failing at balancing the environment.
But nothing gets better while the disparity exists.
and luckily they are. Quite some people finally spoke up with their B tier builds by now, doing absolutely fine, which is great.
as its pretty much just a nice thing to have to see how classes perform. Currently all classes end up on rather similar levels, which is great. A class hitting pit 150 (and probably being capable to do pit 190 if it existed) while others were doing pit 110, would be a nightmare to balance.
All other builds are good. They can easily do t4. Of course, pit 100 is not achievable, and it shouldn’t be.
Back in S7 when everyone was complaining about Poo Wave, I decided to try a Necro & work up to that. I got it & wandered around for a while, Poo Waving things into oblivion, when ever it was up.
I didn’t have the aspects, the masterworking, the tempering, or even the gear to make Poo Wave the uber destructive force that everyone complains about. Instead, what I had was a skill that likely worked as it was intended – every few seconds, when it was off cool-down, I had a Big Blast that was very helpful in clearing packs. But it wasn’t the “run around spamming one button & deleting entire screens” as everyone complained.
I say all this because I can’t help thinking that Poo Wave is not, by itself, the issue – nor is any other skill. The issue is that Blizz borked itemization into the ground, has mostly been unable or unwilling to fix it, & instead relies on sporadic nerfs that please nobody. I will say, for instance, that there is not one single skill – other than Basics – that should be cool-down free.
I think the best, biggest thing Blizz could do to fix this game is take a long, hard, seriously critical look at itemization. & this isn’t just about Overpower – it’s about every buff that is on any item. They need to be very closely looked at for their synergy with various skills.
But Blizz won’t do it, at least not to the extent it needs.
What are you talking about? Who is fine with being weaker?
Weaker than what? Weaker than whom? I ask, because “weaker” by itself is meaningless.
The Diablo 4 community is the only community I know outside of politics that are literally so divided over the most obvious stuff. If it wasn’t for politics, I would’ve been shocked.
We got the people in the NEVER NERF camp vs the people in the BALANCE BY NERF camp. It’s like people in the ALL IMMIGRANTS ARE GOOD CAMP vs the DEPORT ILLEGALS camp.
Obviously, there’s also a spectrum of it, just like in politics, but generally speaking, one camp will or even has caused major issues before yet people are still supporting it. It’s mind blowing how they either don’t realize it or don’t want to believe it. You got one camp pushing for something that has literally been tried and caused major problems vs another camp that wants to stop it because they have experienced the problematic repercussions of implementing the other camp’s policies.
It’s quite mind boggling how similar it is.
Weaker than other builds. Nobody wants to be b tier. That’s terrible.
Weaker than the blacksmith.
I like my B Tier builds.
What do you mean, that sucker is the most powerful class in the game – look how they all have us waiting at their beck & call, teleporting back for their sweet, sweet services with which we must constantly engage.
The blacksmiths are making a killing, standing in one place doing nothing!
It is really only one blacksmith in many forms.
The BlackSmith is Diablo.
Sorry did not mean to ruin their twist for expansion #25.
After you have fought all the possible pets and the other two prime evils.
Most people don’t play so many builds.
This place is a schoolyard compared to RallosZek.net, an independent forum devoted to the original PvP server in EQ1.
Zero sense made. Try again.
… is a group to which I’ve never belonged & never will.
Which part didn’t you understand?
The best builds by the best players are 30-40 pit levels below the max.
Does that not make sense to you?
You can reference the Leaderboards on Helltides if you want.
The maximum is a bad benchmark. Something is severely wrong with all of you.
Let me put in language you will understand: That’s like saying that if you don’t reach paragon 300 every season you’re not a real player.
Is it wrong to think all, or at least most builds, should be able to be within 30-40 levels of the max pit level?
I’m struggling to see what point you’re trying to make.
What pit level do you think an average build should attain?
120? 100? 80? 60?
I just think the best player, playing the best build, with the best gear, still being 30 levels from the max… is a bit silly.
