Even though I don’t and ever play Barb / Druid, I do feel bad for these 2 classes. These 2 classes remains at the bottom of the barrel for S6 , while Sorc LS was nerfed hard, but the build is still viable as A tier build at least. Necro minion also got buffed.
Several streamers did a poll within their community and I’ve participated in all of them.
The result isn’t surprising I guess, we are talking 10s of thousands of people voted, and the result is 70-75% players will be playing spiritborn at launch. And the rest of the class, 3% for barb, 3% for druid, Necro and Sorc hovers around 5-7% …
Blizzard should buff every class to SB level, stop all nerfing please. This is a game, let people have fun. let people feel like a god, overpowered, whatever…
People want to play these games to achieve their ultimate power fantasy, you want to sell more games ? more battle passes ? more cosmetics ? You will, when you have happy player base.
I am sure making SB OP has successfully brought in huge sales for VoH, that is great. But really stop nerfing classes, start buffing everyone. This is a game, not a chore.
I am all for emergency patch but it has to be ONLY buff other classes to SB level. Absolutely not any kind of nerfing please…
Or Nerf the monsters / bosses more so other classes can be just as viable as SB, granted that will make SB even more OP but it is fine, it is better than nerfing.
Other classes might get a slight bump with a mid season patch. But I suspect that SB will stay meta for s6 and s7 at least. Gotta sell those copies. And it’ll probably work.
yea, I also don’t think SB will get nerfed in S7, or nerfed to any extend. Blizz should be proud that made a class this good, that everyone is happy playing it.
If I am the dev I won’t ruin the fun of the class by nerfing it.
Though I do see some balance for SB, hopefully not ruin the class, future down the road
Well, that is true but, I think this is a learning for blizzard too. If spritiborn is cool, powerful and fun… they created this new class and everyone loves it, maybe do the same treatment to other classes too ?
As a Druid main who been spending a stupid amount money on Druid cosmetic, there is not much I can do to get back at Blizzard but to say No everytime a colleague or friend asks me if D4 is any good. The damage is negligible at most (around 17 dmg per no) but at the end of the day, I sleep well knowing I saved a bro from the hellish loop of abuse and disrespect.
Absolutely… For the future, I hope blizzard can see this and make changes.
@MisterCigar - see that is good feedback. I don’t think blizzard want to lose a customer just like that. Anyone can be a potential candidate that spends a lot of money in shop. Especially that you do … One person upset will lead to telling many many more people about the game and it only snow balls downwards from there.
we are talking relative power here - also in high torment like 3 and 4 and push into pits. Barb and Druid just lacking behind every other classes going in S6.
I am not talking about general content like hell tide, NM dungeons or even low torment levels.
This post actually has merit. All the barb and druid mains who spend hundreds of dollars in the shop and Blizzard gives them no respect. No respect for your barb and druid whales, Blizzard.
they’ve turned the entire druid class into a kenmore refrigerator, so it might be worth carrying a druid along in your party just to help cool your beer.
