If you know how damage buckets work in this game, you would know those buffs are next to nothing. They would have to be 75% to 100% to even make a dent.
I think this may actually be a NINJA NERF. Bare with me, so the ToW quests are randomly placed around the map right? So now that level scaling has been removed this means that the ToW is attached to RNG because the quests could be in a low level territory causing you to get less gear and xp.
I hope im wrong.
Oh, the devs sure were touched by the grass on this one…and anyone defending what they did is either a major shill, or too new to even be typing the thoughts in their head lol.
At this point they just need to bring back shackogate, everything will be back to normal
optimistic me would say, “well, we all got nerfed, so who cares?”, realistic me says…“We weren’t getting good drops prior to the nerf”. A LOOT game is no FUN if the LOOT never comes!
They only prevented the power leveling, they technically buffed XP overall for 10+ levels at 15% more now versus 10%
Social: They talked about that and specifically said they would need time to look at it. We knew weeks ago that wasn’t in here so it wasn’t ignored.
QoL: 50/50 several requests are in this patch. They also talked about resets and costs a couple of weeks ago, and that they would look into it (so you can’t expect that to be addressed here reasonably)
Class balancing: That was an absolute huge portion of this patch…
Buffing underperforming skills: they did… maybe not the ones you wanted, but they definitely had buffs in this patch.
Nerfing Meta Skills: Well… the ones that were broken and known to be broken. They kind of just corrected how the skills were supposed to work based on the fireside chat. No personal insight on this one besides, yep they got nerfed.
XP nerf: not really, just adjusted to scale differently from 3+ lvls for 10% to 10+ for 15%. They buffed xp for leveling when not being rushed. They did nerf xp for being rushed though by a lot without a doubt.
No reduction in costs for enchanting: They want a gold sink, this is their gold sink. I doubt this will ever change. What people need to want is that there are more reasonable chance of the chants showing up (IE like d3 did when it told you what it could roll). It seems far to common for random %s of a variable to show up twice at the exact same %. That is definitely busted and needs to be looked at. They want people to find gear and trash gear (It’s like the core thing of the game).
Underperforming classes: What do you consider underperforming? All classes have killed Uber Lilith, all classes have cleared NM 100, and all classes have reach lvl 100 HC. The name of the game is speed and yeah Necros being slow as a snail is definitely a problem, but I am not sure that’s game breaking atm compared to other stuff (IE see chanting issue I mentioned)
Helltides: They specifically said that was an error and are looking into it almost immediately.
It is what it is though. You can be offended. You can be happy. You can be indifferent. It’s just a game. It’s disingenuous to say this is the worst patch ever if you have actually played D2 and D3 as they had some super stinkers that just completely missed the mark and did nothing to address balance or completely threw off the game for a class by nerfing its viability until the next patch.
Then don’t. No one asking ya to defend em. No need to fall on your sword when that aint your sword but it is your life.
I would avoid it for fear of an incoming mass shooting.
XP NERF:
You used to get +25% for monsters +3, you now get +4.5% and cap at +15% for monsters +10.
You don’t know wtf you are talking about.
It sucks, i was honestly looking forward to s1. However since i love barbarian and have loved ww since d2 and both are basically unplayable ill skip seasons 1-4.
Way to ruin your game 2 days before seasons.
Considering the info from the datamine was 10% extra at 3 levels as cap…
I knew the info from there, so just like you didn’t know, I didn’t know either. Acting all high and mighty like a jackhole ffs with your clownish comments.
Another whiteknight converted into a more based state. Question remains: How much of a sissy does one have to be to still defend blizz? We will find out.
