I can not complete whispers of the dead

Hi,
I can not complete the quest whispers of the dead. I would like to do higher nightmare dungeons but without completion I can not craft them. I already received multiple rewards from the three, but still the quest is open

For anyone else who gets this annoying bug, try changing your world tier back to 3. I went to tier 4 immediately after defeating Elias’ shard of hatred then couldn’t complete the quest. Going back to tier 3 allowed quest completion. REALLY ANNOYING figuring this out.

To be fair, it does mention in the quest log itself that you have to return to the tree on the specific difficulty setting.

Then why doesn’t that info appear in the quest objective? It’s actually pretty confusing from a players perspective. “Go to the tree to claim your reward” is a very specific instruction. The player shouldn’t have to additionally figure out “change your tier level” independent from that instruction. Being forced to change tier is just an artificial barrier to completing the quest successfully.

I don’t know what to tell you. It literally says it no less than 5 times on which tier to be in.
