Hello all I hope someone can help me. I pre-orded the Ultimate Edition on the Playstation 5 on the 17/5/2023. I played in the the beta tests and unlocked all the items from those tests.
I pre-installed the game and on the 2/6/2023 I played the game for two and a half days. All my beta rewards and items from the Ultimate Edition where available and used. I made a clan with around 8 members and I got my Necromancer up to level 44.
On the 4/6/2023 I played for about 3hrs and came off to get some food, an hour later I came back on the game and I got hit with an error message 'Unable to find a valid license for Diablo IV (CODE 315306), from that moment on I never got access to the game again.
I tried everything I could find to resolve the issue and everything I tried was unsuccessful, I saw that Blizzard had released a patch which fixed this issue but it didn’t for me. On the 6/6/2023 when the game released I received an email from Blizzard saying my game was now available to play. I went onto the PS5 and to my shock my character and all it’s items plus all my beta and Ultimate Edition content had vanished. I now only have the Standard version of the game.
I have been in contact will Sony to try and get it resolved and they are now telling me that they can see I have bought the Ultimate Edition and that I should contact Blizzard to get it resolved. I have tried in vein to contact Blizzard support and it just leads me down the wrong path.
