I’ve had a change of heart - Who cares about meta builds!

Seeing how the new torment levels function, and how you can get everything on T1 (minus citadel stuff), I’m done chasing meta builds.

Wait let me take that back a hair, I’m done chasing end game meta builds. I still like leveling guides to hit 60 quickly.

I spent an hour this morning theory crafting a single target frenzy Barb with Shard/Ancient Oath/Perdition Helm/Battle Trance / Raknoth Wake boots.

Will use that fire damage when zerking, and the perma zerking when over X fury aspects.

It’s going to suck, even with that mythic, but it sounds fun. Perhaps I’ll spec into Mighty Throw for glyph leveling, or pay a Spiritborn lmao.

Any build, even sub optimal low paragon, can do T1.

The only legit gripe on class balancing is over world content and grouping. I don’t group, and I have no problem letting spiritborns do all the heavy lifting on maidens.

Just thought I would share my thoughts as an ex-meta slave.

Prepare to actually have fun playing the game. In the context of what is supposed to be suboptimal builds the content is challenging and fun and mostly doable.

Yep most of the barb meta builds are really bizarre.

I did enjoy the Necro bone spirit build, even if it’s clunky.

I refuse to follow the metas for any class because they arent fun usually. They all leverage synergies from skills that dont fit with the concept. Like the throw barb casting constant tornadoes and stuff…no thanks. Same in Season 4 I hardlined against changing into a wolf for Lightning Storm Druid. Dumb.
