Hyped for the fireside chat poggers

Who else is bursting with excitement for today’s Blizzard Fire Side Chat about Diablo 4? I can hardly contain myself! :tada:

For all of us ardent Diablo fans, these events are a golden opportunity to get an insight into the development progress, new features, and maybe even some tantalizing hints about the future of this game. After waiting eagerly for this game for what feels like an eternity, it’s finally time for us to gather around the virtual campfire and hear what the developers have in store for us in the dark and twisted world of Sanctuary.

The fireside chat couldn’t be less entertaining than the game, so sure, bring it on!

Jesus that sounds like it’s from a Blizzard employee.

Yes. I’m waiting for this emergency response from this epic backlash. I mean, this fall out could make you think they got caught in yet another scandal.

They need to mention focusing on the missing elements of the game that they mentioned from their pre-release promotional videos (like the social aspect of the game. If they meant the chat box that EverQuest made standard decades ago I’m flipping my office desk. Like even D3 had a party finder and it wasn’t open world focused like this game is designed to be).

Provide timelines on the still broken mechanics of gameplay (skills not working as intended, resistance formula being broken, long skill cooldowns that don’t match speed of the monsters engagement and pace of the game).

Be honest with cooperate’s spreadsheet decisions about maximizing player engagement vs. player enjoyment. We all understand you have cooperate breathing down you necks, just be honest about it (we know they can’t though. NDA)

And for the love of Diablo, let us keep our equipment, aspects and items end of season. The long hours of grind for that stuff is awesome to show case to our friends and family. I loved showing off my seasonal wizard sets in D3 to my brother and old man. They ain’t going to care about my pirate costume…

Keep up the good work, intern! Soon™ you’ll be promoted! As Soon™ as the patch adding better itemization, fixing core mechanics and adding new endgame content!
