will someone please tell me how to assign paragon points and exactly what are they for??
They boost character stats and alter abilities.
To use them go to where you picked skills and move to the paragon board. Then start placing them in rows. Eventually you’ll reach a spot where you can attach a new board, continue and repeat.
Hope this helps.
When you hit 50, use your Skill Points, then the tab next to it is your Paragon tab.
Once in that tab there is a board with circular slots. Each circular slot has a stat bonus. The paths lead to Rare, Legendary and Glyph nodes. To spend points simply click on a node to activate it.
At each side of the board is a gate to attach another board of your choosing. You can fill out each board and choose the paths however you wish.
The Glyph node is a slottable node. Under the points selection is a collection of Glyphs. You can choose a glyph to fill this empty slot. There will be instructions on the requirements to empower this glyph.
Just look up a build on maxroll or another site and follow their paragon boards exactly because if you just meander around and try to make your own, it will be sub-optimal because “playing your own way” was a lie.
Don’t forget the hours of backtracking through nightmare dungeons ad nauseum in order to level all of your glyphs to level 21!
Do these devs know how to make a fun game or what? ![]()
I disagree with everything you said. People should play how they want, not feel compelled to follow what random people tell them they should play to optimal standards that another random person decided was optimal.
I like the notion but it comes down to (unless you are really good at theorycrafting yourself) having fun without pushing content. If you can have fun that way, then go for it.
I followed a meta for my skill tree at launch but theorycrafted my own paragon grid. It was pretty effective but I changed it near the start of 1.4 because I felt like I was underperforming and I realized that I tried to get the most out of every glyph while targeting blue & yellow node clusters when every build I saw online zoomed through the glyph section, just hitting enough to unlock the second effect, and half-***ed most of the node clusters.
It was far more effective but also far more disappointing, but I am better at making builds now that work well.
They are charms that are laid out on a board instead of being kept in your inventory. And not as exciting to get.
thanks!! I will try this right now
Dont do this. Think for yourself. Part of the fun is figuring things out yourself. Some people have alot of trouble doing this though.
