How to turn off text - vulnerable, immune etc?

Pretty much the title. Is it possible not to be bothered by the white text popping up in the middle of the screen when monster is imune to fire for example and it tells me immune! or vulnerable. I was able to turn off damage numbers but for this I cannot find any option in the settings. It kind of kills my experience :confused:

It would be awesome to be able to turn off all of those texts and also item pickup texts like ā€œ+43 Goldā€ and ā€œ+3400 XPā€ and so on.
Is it something that will be available in the final release maybe?

+1, launch game is close and we cant enjoy the story and awsome graphic becouse of fonts in whole screen.

+1 I’m able to turn off the hit numbers, why can’t I turn off the ā€œVulnerableā€ text also?

It should be toggled to turn off using the same hide hit numbers option in the game options menu.

Yes! This! Please at least change the Vulnerable plastered all over the screen. Really hurting the enjoyment factor. Otherwise having a blast Blizzard!

Hey while you guys are at it the banner that pops up if I use a skill with insufficient charges or resources also blocks a good portion of the screen.

Haha I think it’s amusing that most people on PC opt to download third-party software/mods to have things like that enabled, so the devs just incorporated it into the game, and now we’re here talking about it’s a distraction xD I agree, I just find it hilarious. Definitely would be nice to toggle which effects you want to see and which you don’t. Especially when it’s a complete stranger doing it to my guys.

I actually taped a book to my screen so I’d see less words while I play try it out works for me

yeah i need this option, i see like 50 fortify texts on screen every time i get poisoned… And I can see if things are vunrable by the purple bars, no need to show it as text all over the screen…

Please add an option to hide the text, the purple bars make it clear enough.
The rest is such invasive screen clutter.

Would also like to reduce particle effects - so many spell effects/etc obstruct the ground view making it impossible to see the negative effect circles (like poison, fire, etc) which makes it very difficult to dodge them

Do you ppl realize that incense, a 20m buff that takes a lot of mats which you are unlikely to forget you used has visual feedback on the characters BUT GOD DAMNED RELEVANT THINGS, like next attack guaranteed overpower aspect on barb, DON’T? AND I have to count stacks on 1cm icon in the lower left?

STOP TRYING TO MAKE PPL SOCIALIZE to showcase cosmetics, MKAY?

Bosses on schedule are trash.
Wait time before them is trash.
Campfires to incentivize standing next to legion event spawns are trash…
and it’s all, very likely, made to get you interacting/seeing other ppl.

But otherwise infinite un-removable text popups about 100% uptime vulnerable that (in Gary Oldman voice) EVERYONE uses.

Didn’t they say something about no map overlay because it would clutter the screen and take away from players being able to see the environment? What about text spam popups all over the screen? Isn’t that doing the exact thing they are apparently trying to prevent.

This bothers me too. Id love to see an update allowing you to remove all text on top of character in battle

It’s infuriating that they force this upon us! And the Gold texts that come up in virtual duplicate (one in white when they drop, the next in gold when you scoop) are completely idiotic. The gold icon and sound effect are PLENTY! And the Vulnerable!'s are so annoying I’ve actually changed my character skills so as to yield abilities that won’t prompt as many text pop-ups. It’s especially maddening because the combat graphics and animations are so beautiful! The immersion is RIGHT THERE… yet the constant text-pops are ever there to destroy it. I’ve been playing video games since the 2600 and I’ve never been so miffed by a design imposition behind a game otherwise so beloved. Patch patch patch!

Seems the smallest little things annoy people these days.

It disappears right as soon as it pops up and literally tells you a status effect. How is that annoying? I play as rogue and I see vulnerable on screen all the time and not once have I thought to run to the forums because of it.
