Have multiple monitors. When I take a screenshot I get both of my monitors, not just the game screen. How do I get a screenshot saved to a file of just the primary display?
While in game and active on the monitor screen that has the game, simply hit the print screen key (often labled PRTSC or PRTSCR or similar).
However.
Windows 11 users may get hit with the crop tool to capture a custom screen shot. Just hit ESC when that happens.
The game’s screen shot is saved under:
Documents\Diablo IV\Screenshots
Same with most of Blizzard’s games. I have multiple monitors and just tested it. It works fine, but my Windows 11 prompts me to select a screen area for its own snip tool. I just hit ESC to cancel that part.
There’s also Win + Shift + S which is very useful!
Screenshot options will show up at the top of the screen when doing this. You can capture a section of the screen or one display at a time.
This is it. I was hitting the “full screen” button on the options at the top of the screen and that was giving me all monitors. Hitting ESC did the job. Thanks.
