How to solve GPU issues

  1. Go into graphics options
  2. Turn on “limit cutscene FPS” if off
  3. Turn off “FidelityFX Super Resolution 2”
  4. Make sure “Resolution Percentage” is 100%
  5. Cap “Max Foreground FPS” and “Max Background FPS” to your monitor refresh rate or lower
  6. Turn off “NVIDIA Reflex Low Latency”
  7. Lower “Texture Quality” setting some
  8. Turn off SSAO

Now your GPU will run cooler and not waste resources. You are welcome :slight_smile:

We may not see eye to eye on some things, but thanks for the good post.

Hopefully it’ll save some gpus and keep people up and running.

Yea nice start, I would say DLSS and AMDs equivalence can significantly reduce load, power draw, and in turn, heat. I’d recommend trying these on performance or ultra performance if you want to lower your temps. It will also gray out your resolution bar, as it renders the game lower than native and then upscales it
