Is there way to watch it again? I mean previous Diablo game has cinematic button but this one I couldn’t find anywhere. And it seems we only get like 2 CGI cinematic “By Three They Come” And the “Lilith vs Inarius in Hell” which is disappointing given that we have seen the first one like 4 years ago and half of the second one like last year. All previous games have like at least 5 of them for each intro outro and for each ACT…Innovative ingame cutscenes are cool but not an excuse to get lazy…OMG.

Would like to follow this as well. I actually did not have the opening cinematic played… I don’t know if it’s some setting remembered somehow from the Beta (I played all 3 betas), but when launching the game after the early release for the first time, I saw the Blizzard logo short video, the Diablo 4 short video and was then sent to the character creation screen. I definitely haven’t pressed any buttons or anything, so can’t have skipped it “by accident”. And when trying to search for a button to replay cinematics - there was just none. If I hadn’t watched the opening before, and on Youtube, I’d be very pissed

Here’s one youtube video I found that has all cinematics and cut scenes/converstations including those in-game.
3.5 hours long! Holy crap that’s a lot.
I skipped a bunch of the in-game ones so I’ll probably sit down and watch while I’m eating or something.

Would like to add my voice to a request to be able to replay cutscenes in game. My Steam Deck (or the game) crashed in the middle of a cutscene at the end. While I can probably use the link provided above to see it, I’d love the ability to watch it and other cutscenes in the game. Especially with playing on the Deck, it’d be nice to see them later in a higher quality. Thanks! I’ve enjoyed the game and will definitely still be playing.

I would love to have option to rewatch all the major plot point cutscenes as well.
Even by going to a specific places and re-trigger them or have a “shrine” or something that lets you do that.
They’ve done something similar in WoW so why not have it in here as well?

honestly this has always been something that bothered me about the franchise. their cg cinimatics have always been so on point, that i would watch them every time (more or less) if given the option. its so dumb that rather playing them by default (you can always skip them if you dont want to watch again) they instead give them to you just the one first time and then NEVER AGAIN 
i mean, seriously, why not just default to playing the intro every time you start the game like basically every other video game ever made. you can just skip it if you dont want to watch it. why make you go into the code to enable watching it again every time when this should just be how it works??? the amount of time and money that went into creating these animations and they seem oddly reluctant to let us watch them? makes no sense to me and never has…

Diablo 2 has a way to rewatch cinematics. WoW has a way to rewatch cinematics. I think Diablo 3 has the same? Diablo 4 ought to have a way to rewatch cinematics without YouTube.
Personally, I would have prioritized this feature over an in-game store…

Honestly, I’d love if they had an NPC or a media files folder where you could watch the cinematics once you’ve reached the relevant part of the storyline on any character upon your account.
NPC would be the more suitable solution. Heck, make it some altar of Inarius & Lilith hidden in a temple, that’s a safe zone & give various selections to what you want to witness.
… Personally I’d love to see the Inarius & Lilith showdown cinematic again, not on youtube or some third-party website — but from the actual game itself.

Previous games let you rewatch the cutscenes in the menu. It was simple, effective, and welcome to players. But Blizzard today has incompetent, lazy designers (don’t want to be called that, don’t act like it) who haven’t bothered to add this simple feature to the game. Just another sign of how far backwards Blizzard has gone.

Just another data point here. I got to the pivotal Act 4 scene and was really enjoying it. I alt-tabbed to another program to sync my lights.
Guess what: the cutscene froze. The audio continued playing. I panicked and started mashing buttons to quit. I didn’t want to miss this cutscene. The whole program froze. Right before it quit, I saw my character standing with Lorath after the cutscene.
Re-opening the game, it’s impossible to get back to.
Thanks, lack of savepoints. With a normal game you can replay the section. Considering you can’t here, you should be able to access the cutscenes via other means.
I’m about to go to YouTube, and that should not be what the developers want. That shouldn’t be what an always-connected game means.

I highly discourage high-end PC users to delve into the youtube posted cinematics. The Astaroth cinematic was so incredibly beautiful and terrifying on the PC that I wanted to watch it again. Obviously, with the lack of the previous games’ cinematic button in the main screen menu, each being unlocked after having been watched, I went to youtube and found about one video. I started to watch it and was immediately horrified at the poor quality of the video. I had to turn it off in order to not ruin that scene for me. So far, my only solution is having to create a second character and enjoy the story again, which I’m not against in the least. In conclusion, Blizzard, please add a cinematic button and let us watch cinematics again as we please. Thank you.

Yesterday night I got a “Network connection lost” during the hell cutscene ;( the video kept playing but the immersion took a hit. I dismissed the window in the middle in hope it will play again. Reading comments above, I will never know who is Lilith’s …
I also would love to be able to re-watch cinematics. I know that we have the option to watch on youtube, but it really looked better in game with an HDR ultrawide screen. On YT, the HDR seemed far worse, and for ultrawide you need a plugin to “zoom in” video, and obviously the compression degrades the image. Anyhow it’s not an argument against YT x).
Yes i also agree, this is a very bad decision to not allow us to watch the videos that we payed for!
Referring to YT is just silly. Quality is not the same and we payed for the game and whatever that includes. Why limit us? We enjoy the cutscenes that Blizzard spent a ton of money producing so why hide it!?!?! Don’t make any sense to me.

Please make the intro video watchable again at least. It’s a shame I have to go to YouTube for this just to show some friends the intro before playing Couch coop.
