How to increase Dungeon Boss diversity

One out of three times give dungeon bosses a red, blue, yellow, grey, black or purple glow:

  • red means: the dungeon boss deals 50% more damage but also takes 50% more damage
  • yellow means: the dungeon boss moves and attacks 50% faster, but also takes 50% more damage
  • purple means: the dungeon boss can become invisible for short periods of time (you can still hit it), but also takes 50% more damage
  • blue means: the dungeon boss can knock you back and slow you, but also takes 50% more damage
  • grey means: the dungeon boss is duplicated and you’ll fight two of it at once, but both take double damage
  • black (rarest spawn) means: the dungeon boss has all bonusses from the other colors and takes no extra damage

Increase the dungeon reward according to the difficulty of the boss fight.

This has a relatively low development impact and makes boss fights much more interesting. This could also be applied to Elites.

Note: this shouldn’t apply to campaign bosses while doing the campaign, perhaps it’s best to apply it to dungeons in World Tier IV (and up).
