How to switch weapons with Barbarian.
Mine just did by default. The first skill I picked was Bash, so he was all-bludgeon-all-day.
I tried to pickup Frenzy next and couldn’t get him to switch. Went back to more Bash points and then HOTA.
I’m not clear on the “all weapons equipped all the time” stuff.
It uses the best weapon for the job afaik
yeah, I see I start with 2 handed weapons but I’m unable to use them.
What I have noticed is if you bring up your character screen, scroll over your weapons, you will see a line that has 2H Mace, Dual Wield 1 Handers and 2 Handed bladed weapon. Also there is a thing that Auto selects the weapon. From my understanding the game will select the best weapon for you and your damage output. I started with the 2 handed mace, got a better 2 handed sword and it automatically selected the axe. Same when I had 2 1 handed swords that dealt better damage than the Axe. I do not know how to turn off auto select though. Working on it.
I think you have to hit level 5, it gives you the ability to choose Weapon Arsenal for skills, then assign the skill to your weapon by pressing the Middle Mouse button. You cannot use certain weapons with certain skills, for example, you can only use Bash with Blunt Weapons.
Level 5, then hit “S”. Brings up a window that lets you select which weapon you will use for each ability. Should be on Auto as default. You can hit middle mouse button on each ability to switch weapons if you don’t like the Auto selection.
