How to fix the loot problem

Rework the stat system is the first thing…

All we need stat crit crit damage life resource and skill+ all the poop about crowd control damage and crit damage is utter trash and needs removed!

Items like boots should roll walk speed

Belts should roll extra potions or potion buffs

Hands should roll attack speed cast speed

Chest should roll extra armor or something

Remaining items should get some special roll you get my point?

Now reduce legendary drop rate my 100000% yes… they drop so damn much we dont need bags of legendaries per dungeon…

The crappy legendaries buff should drop on blues and yellows they are terrible

Now buff stats all round on items especially legendaries and buff their bonuses by like 500% most of them do sweet fa!!

Now when players actually find a legendary its been worth the time and effort but it also changes the game for you as its very poweful! Right now im cycling legendaries like they are blues and they do nothing anyway…like 3 of them per class actually do something and they boring zero fun…

Legendary weapons should all have unique procs… only that specific weapon… theres no thunder fury or anything… people love these items and they are fun!

Now add more like this! A weapon that summons meteors on proc or a tidal wave or ice nova…a weapon that summons demons or angels

There’s not one god damn fun weapon in the full game!!!

After all of the post that have ever been posted…

this post will fix the loot problem.

Guaranteed.

I think the only thing it can’t solve is why kids love the taste of Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

And you give away youre American…

So, you think it answers the question why they are cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs?

South American or North American? Big difference between the two Americas.

Can both you monkeys leave my thread… idiots

Play nice, Hurricane. Here, have a bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Cocoa Puffs with some Lucky Charms marshmallows sprinkled on top.

In other words in order to fix the itemization you want to remove itemization and make all items roughly the same due to a lack of affix options and turn the entire process of armor/set building into chasing ultra rare legendaries.

Sounds great, I’m sure no one would complain about the itemization becoming overwhelmingly homogenized.

Ok, ok I’ll take this more seriously.

I agree there’s a lot of fluff affixes, some definitely need to be removed or combined.

They already do.

We have belts?

Currently Pants can roll with the following affixes:
These will show at the very top of the tooltip for a pair of pants just under the armor value:

  • While Injured, Your Potion Also Grants 20% Maximum Life as Barrier
  • While Injured, Your Potion Also Grants 30% Movement Speed for 2 Seconds
  • While Injured, Your Potion Also Restores 20% Resource

And these can roll randomly as affixes along with other stats:

  • Potion Capacity
  • Potion Drop Rate

They do add attack speed, just not cast speed, but as any caster will tell you, necro, druid, sorc, it’s the same exact stat and they do in fact cast faster with more attack speed, it works for all skills currently in the game. It won’t make the skills themselves faster, just the ability to pump them out faster.

It already does, in the form of +% total armor which is even better

Disagree, we need these not only for potential upgrades, but also for the materials you get when you destroy them at the blacksmith.

Your idea of crappy legendary aspects may differ, but I will concede that changes should be made for less useful aspects.

So you want this game to be like D3 with huge stat numbers and Trillions of damage? Just clarifying.

They are called Uniques, and some are currently in the game, just not a lot, and they’re fairly lackluster.

It sounds to me like you want this game to be more along the lines of D3, which is fine, but I doubt it’ll ever get to that level, I could be wrong though, blizzard has done crazier things before.
