It feels like this :
-The intern that designed most of the barb was like :
‘‘look how powerful the barb will be with 100% uptime on his 3 shouts, so no need to actually work on anything else, barb will be OP on release, and all the old-school will be very pleased :D’’
Then the very first lvl 100 player, Rob comes in, and makes a mess of a video, proving how badass barb can be with optimal gear/paragon/aspects.
Result, barb nerf, and the rest of his skill tree / paragon board / and gear (uniques LOL) were left untouched.
As of today, and after 1.1.1 : barb is still in alpha state. Devs being overloaded with basic bugs and people screaming about just so many problems that wasn’t supposed to happen for a ‘‘supposedly’’ finished game on release.
Barbs are lying there with an unfinished design, from head to toe (from their skill tree to their paragon board, even up to their unique gear).
We complain, as we should. Afterall, a huge proportion of buyers players actually bought the game to play main barb off the start…
FAIL BLIZZARD, FAIL!!!
TAKE THAT FEW HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS IT TAKES TO HIRE THE DAMM PEOPLE TO FIX THE PROBLEM. STOP BEING GREEEEEEEEEDY. You made a Freakin billion $ in gross sales. Just in plain clean profit that’s enough to hire programmers for the next 20 years worth of diablo content so STOP wasting time while the game is still ‘‘hot’’ because it’s getting cold faster than ever ATM…
