What the h$#^ happened ? Now I can’t masterwork or reset masterwork anymore lol.
Some of these resources are balanced terribly I think.
Those legendary ones, forgot their names, I got like over 6 thousands of them. But I am out of angel breath and veiled crystal … this is absurd.
Yes I admit, I have not been farming helltide much since I was mostly focused on pit and nm dungeons for alts. If that is reason why then these 2 resources needs to get a closer look at becuase it makes 0 sense that I have over 6000 of those legendary mats but not these rare mats ???

For sure not all the mats are tuned correctly.
But as for veiled/angle/gold you need to farm them. You cant just MW forever.
As for the discrepency of the other mats being abundant… they need to be tuned; Either drop less, or have more use. Hopefully they figure it out by next season.
It took them 4 seasons to finally get gems about right this season. Before now it just rained gems. Now they feel just about right. You get all the gems you need but its not instant.
Prisms seem just about right as well this season. I have them but not overflowing.
Just go Bloodmaiden in Helltides you’ll get them back up in no time.
But I got like 26K of each color gems , that intended ?
I mean I am just playing the game normally as I would. And I play a lot. I think they are purposely trying to bottleneck some of the most important mats .
Enchanting. You been rerolling too much.
That is only 2 and a half royal gems. Granted once you have them, unless you alt, you will never need any more.

run helltides some more. you get them rather quickly. i have over 7k angel breath in softcore and i have only been playing hardcore for over a week
well, I am doing pit 100 so yes I reroll a lot and enchant alot and Masterwork a lot that is end game…
Why do I feel like that is being punished because these mats needed are severely bottlenecked ?
You answered your own question.
Only two real choices:
- The mats either have meaning and you need to farm/conserve them
- or they are so abundant they might as well not exist in the first place

I’m on eternal, when I roll a brand new class of brand new gear from scratch - it’s usually 5000 veiled crystals (and this was before the patch) and about 1500-2000 forgetten souls, which I guess is now the new angelbreath.
So yeah, I think it’s normal to go through that pretty quickly. relative to what your gearing efforts are.
the balance is weird though. Those legendary ones, abstrut, baleful, coiling w/.e they are called got like 6 thousands of them…

Yeah. We agree. They need to tune it. Either drop less or be used more/have more uses.
They’ll dial it in eventually.
Ideally if you do the most of the activities; NMD, PIT, Helltide, World Boss then you won’t run out. But if you focus on one then you will… eventually.
Currently you just need to do:
- Helltide to get most mats
- Pit for MW mats
- Pit for torment boss summons
- bosses for boss ladder (if you want uber or uniques)
- ToW if you really want to grind gold (but I think you can survive off vendoring)
No real need to do:
- Dungeons/NMD once you got your glyphs (besides event shrines)
- legions
- world boss
Those are totally skippable and you want really miss anything.
guess i’ll go back to my walking simulator helltide, I mean I like the new helltide but idk how long it’ll take to farm back what I need. The drops aren’t that amazing to be real honest.
at least in pit I get some adreno rush - as a shadow minion Necro I mean I walk sim pretty much entire game other than pit 100 cuz my minion just 1 shot everything …

I mean for all serious purposes you have beat the game this season… at least with one class.
No reason to push pit unless you just really feel like it.
No real reason to get perfect item (Masterworking) unless you just really want it or feel like pushing pit.

I play off meta so I’ll feel a win when I can do Pit 61 (can do 50s currently) and kill a torment boss. Not there yet.
Let’s think about this:
Does having an unlimited amount of materials (all the time) mean that it is well balanced?
If you never run out, it’s the same as if they are unlimited. Think about it.
If they run out, it is because they are not unlimited.
Ye I get what your saying… But I feel empty when my gears are not master worked at least to my level of satisfactory.
Not sure, If I feel like it I will farm some helltide, maybe kill few more tormented ubers… but ye, I am kind of done with this season LOL
Probably because they don’t want you to grind a singular form of content. Especially when you are using the same material for alts as well.

Must be. Because when I was only playing my Necro, I had no resource issue. Since my sorc got to 100 and now also doing about pit 50 ish …

Well, yes, but I think it’s a matter of relativity, if you have a ton of other mats laying around…be able to convert them?
This is what people are talking about balance.
Running out is fine just it should be very equal in relationship to consumption and need.
It should be as seamless as possible of course. If you have to stop playing what gives you the most reward to get something to continue doing what was giving you the most reward for your time, it feels clunky.
