Ice shard sorc who mostly geared up for only damage here is now finding difficulty in higher tier dungeons and I need to switch out my flame shield aspect for disobedience but I’m wondering how much can I expect it to help me?
Its difficult to say without knowing the exact math for how much armor you lose while fighting enemies higher level than you.
Either way its one of the best defensive aspects for pretty much every build.

It’s mandatory from about NM 50-80, then irrelevant once you start getting one-shot regardless of you defenses.
I found that flat DR offers more than armor on higher leveled monsters, which makes sense since there are penalties for armor vs higher leveled monsters, and the math behind those penalties is not yet known.
