Basically every meta build relies on one or more bugs. Whole game is a buggy mess. They need to make it priority to fix.
These “Meta” builds are actually builds optimized for gold farming by very math-talented players in the eastern hemisphere. They run a script, and the script plays the build.
Eventually the streamers find out about these gold farm builds and pass them off as their own. The reason these streamer builds are so unfun to play is because they’re designed to be played by a script. But when the numbers are just that many times bigger, the appeal is obvious.
Start calling these builds what they are. Gold farming bot builds. They prop up the gold farmers first, and the streamers second. The regular player loses.
Lol…dude…i assumed this was the case since season 2 for all the top performing builds.

The team probably from their modeling efforts sees everything is balanced.
But…lol…bug, exploit, unintended mechanic item base change (4/5 seasons with itemization changes), double dips, snap shotting, paragon board interactions…

Hard to say whether it is or isn’t intended I’m guessing they knew it would be pretty strong. Basically it is due to the dmg increase of Splintering Energy aspect scaling infinitely with crit damage. So if you stack crit damage to the sky with that aspect and get enough CD to spam lightning spear then your damage is bonkers.
One related and potentially unintended interaction here is no cap on stacks of Conjuration Mastery which I’m guessing is why it will be capped at 30 stacks in S6
huh? what does that have to do with anything? I often forget to even use it on my LS and T8 still melts with or without unstable currents.
Sorc sounds fun this season, if there was more than 6 days left in the season I’d roll one.

I’ve had a blast playing sorcs in S5 with 8 or 9 different builds across 7 L100 chars. as of now I’m planning on sticking with it in S6 and maybe rolling a SB later in the season.
So storm land slide is now in s6 back to being meh again ? Well it was super fun this season but I had no idea it was due to being broken.
