Zero reason to pre-order any games in my opinion. Preordering was meant to reserve physical copies, which don’t exist anymore. Furthermore, little is still known about the expansion. I don’t see any reason to give money to any company months in advance for a few digital cosmetics.

i purchased it the day it was announced and if they announced a 2nd expansion today i would throw my money at them again.
even if diablo4 could be a better game, the diablo franchise (incl. diablo 4) is still great.

Well, if it was soloable, it would be called “solo-op”, but it’s called “co-op”. No reason to be soloable.
As for the expansion - no, I haven’t pre-ordered and I am not going to. After pre-ordering the ultimate edition of the base game that was enough of incenerate upon me to learn my lesson. First, I want to see the full gameplay from the streamers and then I will decide.

Would be weird if they focus on “co-op” stuff as they have said that 84% of the D4 players play solo… source is Rob (streamer)

Not yet.
I preordered VoH because I have enjoyed playing D4. I never had super high expectations of this game like a lot of people, so I was never really disappointed. I liked the campaign a lot and all the classes are fun. Some of the seasons have been fun. I think the VoH new campaign and new class alone are worth my money.

don’t make such a big deal out of it…the addon will be worth the money…just like D4 was…
of course the game had its problems…but d4 was not a scam project that was only there to take money out of people’s pockets…a lot of work went into it…
and they didn’t give up on it, they constantly improved it…
there are completely different games today that are simply forgotten unfinished…

I already purchased it don’t care what complainers think it looks good to me. I just wished the gorilla moved with us. Interested in the mercenary system, new lore, new “zone”. Expanded renown, more side quests, new boss.

When people complain about the cost, it implies that if it were cheaper they would buy it. If it weren’t about the money at all, they wouldn’t mention the price - they would just discuss the merits and quality of the game.

Let’s say that any of us could earn access to VoH by working for 8 hours. I wouldn’t waste 8 hours in a stressful job to play the expansion.
