I’ve seen a total of 2 drop. I’m a level 76 Sorc and have ran Helltides opening up multiple mysterious chests, close to 100 NMD’s (T35-40), and still have only seen 2 Glacial aspects.
The rarity is insane.
I still believe they have it in the code to analyze what you’re using and drop aspects that you’re not using. For example I always get tons of fire and lightning aspects while I’m ice spec.
When I was leveling up lightning, I was getting tons of ice and fire.

Before the season my level 100 sorc only found like 4 of them total and I ran hundreds of NMD’s,opened up probably almost 50-60 mysterious chests in Helltide and spent close to 20k obols.
Maybe 6 or so. However, all but one have been unplayably low Damage.
It’s rare.
My guess would be something like 1/100 or 150. And then you have the roll issue within the drop.
Best route is to put all obols into finding it and use helltides to farm obols.
I think you need probably 6 or 7 rolls on this aspect to find a good one.
I found a bunch of Glacials, but only 1 with a max roll of 1565 dmg, and a couple that rolled 1500 dmg. (I have played more than I should have, rushed to 100 at launch playing everyday a few hours farming nm dungeons 50-60 and helltides before the changes etc…) it’s definitely rare.
What I’m really struggling with are Prodigy’s and Concentration drops, it feels like I can’t play without 25 mana on cd and I only ever found two of these with a 25 roll, and iirc only 1 concentration with a 30% roll(although, I did find a few 29-28% rolls) They both just stopped dropping lately tho and instead I’m full of fire and lightining useless stuff, I tried Umbral and it works very well on trash, but I just don’t like stuff that don’t work on bosses, like half useful clutter this class is full of…
Yeah, I think Prodigy (and Umbral) are actually more rare than glacial.
Between prodigy and umbral I’m not sure which is more rare.
I also think both dropped way more frequently pre-season and since 2-3 weeks after launch have become very, very rare.
Agree, mana regen aspects are definitely more rare than Glacial, I believe it’s because these can only roll on rings (I wonder why they don’t roll on a Focus, you can put defensive stuff on shield… but not on the Focus)
Yeah, but I spend obols exclusively on Rings so even controlling for item type, they remains super, super low probability. annoyingly so!!!
I’ve seen at least 3-4 prodigy and umbral but only 2 glacial.
1 of each prodigy and umbral are max roll.
I’ve found 3 so far and I’m level 78. The one I’m currently using is item level 790 or something for about 1350 damage. Unfortunately, I put it on a wand. I’m trying to find another one for a staff.
So…I actually think the RNG engine gives you a good roll on one of each of these early on.
But then to find another one it’s like we go through a ticker or something and need to burn through 50 decks of cards to flip another.
Most of my perfect rolls have come from early extractions.
For context, out of maybe 10k of obols, I probably have 3 or 4 Glacial (all bad rolls) but no prodigy and 1 umbral. Small sample size, but hopefully gives additional context for my RNG sampling.
I’ve gotten two Umbrals (one 3 mana one 4) and have NEVER gotten a freaking Prodigy aspect drop. Im Level 91. Never! I always have to use the base aspect. I got my first conceited the other day, lol.
In regard to glacial, I’ve only gotten 2, one with garb damage. In fact I switched a different ring as to not lose the glacial aspect.
I’d love to know more about the drop tables. I see to get a disproportionally high amount of lightning-related drops. I’m an ice-based build.

@Kuros, just FYI, (I believe the RNG engine cycles through when certain aspects drop and are locked on other timing cycles). I think the prodigy aspect is in the cycle today. If you believe my voodoo data collection, obol away on rings today!
You know, I was thinking the EXACT same thing last night.
Ran 2 helltides, got all Mysterious chests, and ran dozens of NMD’s and gambled another 800 obols on offhand.
Meteor aspects and lightning aspects galore!
The only frost aspect I got was deep freeze spikes and maybe 1 ice shard pierce aspect.

Quite a few now. Just gotta farm farm and farm. It was dry for me from 60-80, then started dropping about 2 every lvl. At lvl 85 now, dried up again.
Yes, observation from the launch. Aspects on the skills you use Drop less frequently.
