I really don’t understand this mentality that the Seasonal Realm is the main focus and the Eternal Realm is for casuals and dead. Isn’t the whole point of an ARPG (and RPGs in general) to make your character as powerful as possible? The only way to do that is level to 100, max out the levels on all your glyphs, roll for the absolute best stats on gear, grind for the Uniques you need for your build with the absolute best stats, etc. That’s what a main character on the Eternal Realm is for. 99.9% of players aren’t going to do any of that on the Seasonal Realm.
On the Seasonal Realm we’re all just rolling alts, seeing what the little side story is, trying out different classes/fun new builds with the new limited time gimmick, etc. until we just stop leveling whenever we get bored and wait for the next season to try out the next gimmick. It’s the definition of a casual, temporary, alt-friendly game mode; not serious in the slightest, especially when your build is no longer viable once it transfers over every season. So can someone explain to me how the Eternal Realm is considered the casual one?

Whats your highest level character?
I’ve gotten all the way to level 6- why?

Because it doesnt take long to hit 100. The slowest levels of the game are from 50-65.
Once youre 100 theres nothing to do.
There is nothing “eternal” about this game.
Furthermore, once you hit 100 you aren’t exactly eager to do it again with a different character. Seasons help with that.
You know the percentage of players currently at level 100 is low. And not being eager to do it again with another character, and running a lower level alt instead with Seasons just reinforces my point.

I’ve never heard someone call the eternal realm the “casual” realm personally. It definitely will eventually become a graveyard though outside of expansion releases. The eternal realm isn’t going to be very welcoming to new players compared to seasonal realms, and even the diehard eternal realm players will get bored eventually and start falling off. It’s inevitable.
I’m like you in that I like perfecting my character but this isn’t the right game for that. This game is best played a few weeks at a time each season and will be developed for players who enjoy that cadence and purchase the battlepass. I also agree that seasonal is the more casual realm if we had to label it.

The reality is that end game itemization is less well developed than early game power progression.
End game, you just make your number’s bigger.
Early game, you actually construct a build and improve your power via developing new mechanics.
no minions < more minions < minions + golem
is a more fun development than number A < Number B
hence why, many people prefer a seasonal
reset than playing on an eternal server.
The actual progression, is better developed.
And you LIE…
353 hours in, AND NOT 100 yet…
Quit cheesing the game…
Play SOLO…
Solo get exactly in a 12 hours session, MAYBE, JUST MAYBE half a block of xp towards then next block…
I do play solo.
Your time spent has been very inefficient then.
All you have to do is farm nightmare dungeons and make sure the mobs are 5-10 levels higher than you.
If you do that, it takes about 40 minutes to level from 70-71, and about 2 hours to level 99-100. So 70-100 takes about 40 hours.
Say you’re a meta pos user w/o saying you’re a meta pos user…
Next, you have to get NM’s that can be cleared…
Not the trash that has been given to me…
So take you’re blowhard ways and stickem’ where the sun don’t shine fanboi…
K your broken English is hard to respond to but in response to you saying this:
You might not realize but you can go to the occultist and craft sigils within the level range that you want. From there, another sigil will always drop within the dungeon at about the same level so you wont have to craft any more.
